Sibirskaya Korona’s younger brother... Golden, almost no head. Aroma weak malt, butter, yeasty, grass. Same goes for taste if there is any. Light watery body. Waste of time.

500ml bottle from a supermarket in Vyborg, enjoyed from a dimpled mug in a hotel room on st. Petersburg, clear gold colour with medium soapy head. Aroma is cereal, caramel and a hint of floral hops, taste is sweet with some cardboard and starch. Light body, aftertaste is metallic bittersweet with more starch. Quite a nasty Russian lager all in all, does go down when thirsty or drunk but better to steer clear.

Pours amber yellow with tall thin head. The aroma is very modest, hints of grain & corn. The body is light getting nothing in finish. Tastes sweet but mostly of zero. This is a very Russian beer. It’s made not for tasting but to drink to dried fish.

DruncanVeasey (7424) - NUNEATON, CONF N, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
500ml bottle in Kamari, Santorini. Pale beaten gold with a skim of head speckling with lace. Weak cereal, lemon, saline-like, olive soap and adhesive aroma. Grainy malt, Madeira cake crumbs, hint of almond, more glue and white flour-like impressions. Flimsy and happoshu-like. That said, sufficiently chilled it’s inoffensive.

Klinskoje Svetloje 4.7% ABV (unlike 4.5 stated here). Aroma industrial tetrahop. Clear golden colour. White head, short duration. Taste is neutral and watery. No maltiness, light tetrahop. Green bottle oxidation included. This literally drifts so far from beer, it makes me wonder, what do they even have in common.

larsga (6621) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 7, 2013
Medium white head. Clear pale yellow body. Mealy fresh wood aroma. Dry, and faintly sweet, mealy perfumy taste. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy sugary aftertaste with papery notes. Could be worse, I guess. (0.5l bottle from a Moscow supermarket.)
