2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, - MAR 6, 2008On tap at Waterhuis, Gent. There was a fair amount of this left on the table from the Babblebelt, so I guess not many people liked it. Belgian bready yeast aroma. Over carbonated. It’s ok, just fairly basic.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 maxwelldeux (2220) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Draught. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderately-sized off-white head. Nose is quite sour with a bit of funk on it. Taste is similarly sour, yet fairly smooth and with just a bit of a bit to it. Interesting, but not what I expected.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Borresteijn (3647) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2013
On tap at ’t Waterhuis aan de Bierkant. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma is quite sweet, booze, caramel, light nutty, fruity. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, booze, caramel, fruity, bitter-sweet finish. Medium to full-bodied, soft carbonation. Nice enough for the high abv.
3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 TheCrowsNest (76) - Redondo Beach, California, USA - APR 17, 2013
Alcohol is way to prevalent. Sweet malt balanced only by the sweet, burn of booze. Bleh.

Draft at Waterhuis aan de Bierkant Hazy chessnut colour, tan head. Taste is strong, medium sweet, caramel malts, butter, yeast, some spices. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Smart thing they only serve three glasses a person. Although...it’s not that great and certainly not worth the high ABV and worth drinking more than just one

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 n00bface (137) - Minneapolis, USA - JAN 14, 2013
On tap at Waterhuis aan de Bierkant (Gent, Belgium)
Aroma: Dried fruits, gingerbread, and honey.
Appearance: Dark reddish-amber color with a big white (and long-lasting) head.
Taste: Not much of the aroma comes out in the taste. Almost no sweetness, slightly bitter, with a boozy finish.
Palate: Light-bodied with a lively carbonation.
Decent beer, but the finish was a bit too boozy (even with the abv taken in to consideration). It certainly warmed me up though.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mutz (293) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 31, 2012

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 chinchill (580) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 2, 2012
served in a snifter at the Trappe Door (SC). Had a remarkably thick and creamy head that, for a while, completely coated the glass on the way down.
Yeasty and fruity, but at a moderate level for style. A bit sweet for style, but not cloying or objectionable. Some diactyl in the flavor that blended nicely with the creamy/buttery feel, aroma and other taste components.
