Draught. Hight white fluffy but lasting head. Clear golden body. Sweet and fruity aroma. Dry and even hoppier than the pils and apparently also more alcoholic. Not too much though. Low carbonation. Long and dry hops aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear amber golden color with a large frothy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught at the Klosterbräu. Dark golden color. Fresh malty flavor, light notes of toffee and light sweet. Light astringent, light hop bitter end. Fresh, caramelic aroma.

The wife said that it reminds her of Fat Tire. I think that’s her general way of saying that she likes an amber-colored beer. Anyway, here’s my impression: Good biscuity center with a strong hop finish (that’s not to say that the hops dominate but rather bring a nice balance). Excellent drinking beer.

Bottle. Clear orangey amber colour, medium offwhite head. Sweet malty nose with a hint of nuts as well as grassy hops. Flavours are nicely balanced grassy hops meeting toffee maltiness, with good bitterness. Good carbonation, light to medium body, dry mouthfeel. Nice.
