Draught at the brauhaus
Hazy deep blond color. Mild aroma of wheat, spices and light fruitiness. The wheat flavor is mild too, a bit sweet, with both some spices and fruits, but very light; the bitterness is low; the final is therefore quite sweet. Pleasant and balanced, but nothing complicated.

An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty and wheaty combined with a light note of fruit. The flavor is sweet and very wheaty, but also with quite a lot of citrus. But the body is at bit thin.

Draught Fully hazy yellow beer , like pineapple juice; small, but tenacious head, leaving textbook lace. Sourish nose, bit pickles-like, nearly acetic. Quite some wheat. Drier, sweeter taste than nose would suggest. Clove, but no banana. Medium body, just some wheat slickness. Frankenland Weizen: not very sweet, no banana, and a bit plain, but never bad - as in imitation of the Vollbier.

Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 16-06-10 had this on tap at the brewpub Pours sunshine orange, its hazy but not as hazy as some Hefeweizen, there is a nice white head atop. There is a slight smokiness to this, its wheaty with a dab of banana, likeable stuff. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Yellow, almost gold. White head that falls quickly. Little bit of lacing. A scent of fruit and malt. Taste the same. A little dry bread character. Not bad.

Draught as "Weizen". Citric aroma, some banana. Cloudy golden colour, big stable creamy white head. The flavour starts off a bit weak, turning citric. Wheaty mouthfeel. High carbonation, but tolerable.

Nut brown & hazy. Soft and creamy with vanilla aroma. Not very estery, and less assertive than many other beers at this tiny Bamberg brewer.

Cloudy. Dull gold with thin head. Mild aroma is lightly yeasty with a hint of pear. Tart, appley example with some light phenolic character towards the finish.
