Cloudy yellow ochre with no head. Sweet aroma has fermented fruits, alcohol, yeast, raisisins. Light feel with no carbonation, sweet, same elements as aroma. Lacks nuances and body. Feels bit diluted.

Golden colour with a thick white head. Nose is "Heller Bock" typical. The beer starts typical sweet, probably too sweet with hints of honey. The mainpart is typical for the style, but I don’t like this immense sweetness that lies over everything. Only very slightly bitter till the end. Highly drinkable and very very smooth!
--> A great session Bock (if someone does this), but no beer for me! --> 7/13/8/7

Ein netter Bock mit klassischen Bockaromen. Mild in der Süße mit etwas Heu und Gras. Malzig um Abgang mit einigen schweren Momenten. Nicht schlecht.

Bottle from Pivnizub - many thanks! The Bock pours out in a clear golden-amber colour with low steady head and medium to smooth body. Aroma of mild hops and flowers. Taste of ripe but mild hops, straw, mountain flowers, malt and caramel. Light spicy but fresh hints. Really nice one - easy and quaffable to drink.

Clear yellow colour, mid-sized head. Malty with hints of honey and vanillla, shy hops in the finish.

Bottle. Superb Heller Bock, probalby the best I’ve ever had. It’s just so rich and complex and at the same time refreshing. Notes of cookies, rye, orange and citrus. I can’t belive that this beer has 6,7%ABV. Give me another one please!

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Pale malty, minimally grainy aroma, minimally spicy malty, a touch of honey and husk. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, a grainy touch, fruity hints of honeydew melon, a dry note of green apple parings. Nicely balanced, not too sweet.

500ml bottle - shared by mjs - thanks!
Bold gold. Slightly starchy and papery aroma. Pretty dull as a bock. Tastes more like an European Strong Lager, as it’s lacking the richness and graininess or nuttiness of a heller bock. Drinkability quite high, no sign of 6.7%. Pretty decent ESL.
