500ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Pale malty and yeasty aroma, covering a range from doughy via spicy to tart-ish, scratching the edge to straw and brine. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, yeasty doughy, minimally biscuity, hay and straw overtones. minimally tart-ish undertones, hints of brine and pickle juice, a fruity touch of mirabelle and nectarine. Quite complex, well balanced, all flavours come along in rather mild, cautious and subtle fashion. Outstanding.

Aroma of bready malt, hint of yeast, grassy hops. Flavour is light sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Crisp and refreshing!

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2015 (Bottle share with Martinus - Thanks!) Pours a very hazy beige/white. The nose smells of boiled cabbage or over-fermented tofu/beancurd. The palate showed round sweet malts but not much else.

Hazy golden colour, dissipating white head. Malty aroma, hay, yeast, quite fruity. Malty flavour, yeast, straw, light bitter, quite fresh. Fresh malty finish, straw, fruity notes. Enjoyable!

My Bottom Line:
Nicely sculpted toasted malts are in perfect harmony with wooden, herbal hops in this expertly crafted Helles.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the light golden mist.
-The big bubbles don’t feel natural but, in a way, they work well with the crisp cereals and herbal hop spike.
-Bitterness is mild, but drinkability is sky high.
-This brewer really knows what she’s doing.

0,5 l swing top bottle bought at Bierzwerg. Pale golden an nearly clear in the glass, big white head. Light mashy and yeast on the nose. Starts grassy, yeast, high carbonated. Sweet background. Spicy, later more hay light dry. Thinner ending.
