Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

bottle. Clear deep golden yellow colour, large white head. Solid malty flavours dominate, with hints of apple, caramel and fruit. A good one.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very spicy and strong, a little bit sourish and metallically finish. Well balanced. Good märzen!

Bottle: Deep golden to amber coloured, quickly vanishing off-white fluffy head; moderate to stronger nutty and toasty nose with a delicate aromatic hoppy background; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, soft MF, astonishingly light bodied for a beer of 5,6%; a delicate bitterness shows up in the solid nutty dry-toasty finish. Very good, flavoursome brew........

(bottle, purchased at the brewery, 5.6%[!] abv) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white frothy head. Aromatic and sweet malt-character; slightly cara-malty with notes of citrus, sugar beet and a tinge of alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Robust cara-malty, slightly bready base with a subtle tinge of fruitiness; sweet, (cara-)malt accented finish with a shy hoppy bitterness. Clean and “süffig”, as we say in Germany (28.07.08).
