3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear, light brown body with a medium off-white head. Aroma is molasses, vanilla and blueberries, with grassy undertones. Taste is marzipan, blueberries and molasses, with hints of caramel. The blueberry element is subtle enough to blend easily with the rest of the brew, giving me a pleasant surprise as I’ve yet new to most of the kriek-genre and particularly the use of blueberries in beer. Perhaps a bit too sweet, but generally quite drinkable. A very decent brew.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rating #361, bottle from Metro
Murky caramel-brown beer with an airy white head with good duration.
Aroma was the vague spot of this beer, with only caramel and a certain fruityness as dominating factors. Some metallicness seemed to be traceable, too. The taste was a nice surprise with a lot of yeast, caramel, chocolate and a nice fruityness with berry-notes; however I couldn’t specifically tell if it was blueberries or not. Sweet and toffee-like finish with a bit hops. Medium body and creamy mouthfeel. All in all a better beer than expected, and absolutely worth a try.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sweet and weird. Definitely not my style of beer and a funny "bock" with Belgian yeast?! This taste more like Belgian dubbel with some berry additive. Nice foam and appearance.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. An unclear, golden beer with an orange tint. Beige head. There’s a vegetal hint in the aroma, with caramel, spices and white sugar. Caramel and dried fruits in the flavor, some fresh fruits as well. Notes of white sugar, bitterness and a hint of spices blend in. The finish has a nice bitterness, and some orange. Full-bodied, sweet and decently carbonated. An easy drinkable beer with a bit too much sugar. 091023
