Big shiny light beige lasting head. Hazy amber body. Yeasty dried fruit aroma with dusty malty notes with some apple and grain. Dry-sweet malty fruity taste, rather full, with notes of dates and apples. Dryish spicy malty aftertaste with fruity notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. (0.1l taster draft at EBF ’08.)

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
50cl bottle at home, bought in the wine shop in hillerød close to kalinka. (skjold burne?) clear dark amber with a sizeable offwhite thick nice looking head.
mid "beery" aroma, sligthly metallic, but probably hops making it that way.
flavor is caramle, faint roasted stuff, brown sugar, malts. faint flowery hops. even though it is a little on the sweet side, it is very drinkable, it never gets cloying. i didn’t get the blueberries but after reading it has blueberies i do taste some dark fruits. nice brew, not extreme, but drinkable and tasty. Good for non-beer-geeks i guess.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear, light brown body with a medium off-white head. Aroma is molasses, vanilla and blueberries, with grassy undertones. Taste is marzipan, blueberries and molasses, with hints of caramel. The blueberry element is subtle enough to blend easily with the rest of the brew, giving me a pleasant surprise as I’ve yet new to most of the kriek-genre and particularly the use of blueberries in beer. Perhaps a bit too sweet, but generally quite drinkable. A very decent brew.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle@home. Small head. Mahogany clear. Intens caramel burnt sugar toffee. Sweet dry wooden mouthfeel. No bitternes or hop sensation. Maybe too much Caramalts used here.

Bottle. Cloudy mahogny, lacing offwhite head. Spicy caramel aroma with some nuttiness. Good nutty flavours, medium bitterness. A fruity bock ( the blueberries is a good addition) that may not rock your world, but is still highly drinkable.

Hazy orange with a lasting off-white head. Bready malt aroma with a hint of hops. Dry malty flavour, clean and quite refreshing for a bock.
