Pitch black with a dark medium beige head. Sweet aroma with burned malt, coffee, liquerice and dark bitter chocolate. Flavour had smoke, chocolate, espresso, hops and burned malt. Delicious.

Rating #8000. Bottle at Papsø. Pitch black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of chocolate, liquorice and dried fruits. Roasted flavour of chocolate, liquorice, tar, dried fruits and alcohol with notes of berries. Roasted finish.

33cl bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours pitch black with a small stable creamy brown head and lacings. Nose and taste is perfectly combined and balanced. Roasted coffee, chocolate, hops and liquorice. Smooth and very soft. Sticky, vinous and oily. Long finish. Extremely tasty. Closer to 4,1 than 3,9.

Bottle. High and lasting creamy light brown head. Pitch black body. Liquorice coffee choccolate aroma and a hint of alcohol. Powerful but well balanced liquorice coffee choccolate creamy flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste. Alcohol level just right.

Bottle. Dark brown to black pour, thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, spicy hops, bready yeast and chocolate. Flavor is bitter roasted and spicy hops. Some leather. Quite smooth. Nice brew.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Nice intense bur not powerfull aroma. Licorice notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Chocolate and licorice notes. NIce moderate bitter slightly roasted finish. Creamy palate. Very nice beer.
