Bottle. A lightly hazy golden beer with a small, off-white head. It’s quite grainy on the nose, with a light fruityness. Some spiced and herbal notes in the far back. It’s dry and medium bodied, with a soft carbonation. Pale malts, bitterness, some generic fruityness, citrus hints and a little spiced hint in the flavor. Lasting finish with pale malts, herbal bitterness and some citrus. A decent beer indeed, but I can’t say I’m impressed in any way. Slakes the thirst though. 140620

500ml bottle, ca. 4.5% abv., brygg 111, beer gift for lecturing on early modern witchcraft. Near-clear, copper coloured body. Filmy layer. Grassy aroma, lightly spiced. Semi-dried fruity taste, a bit floury. Notes of spices as well. Dry fruity ending. Crispy and soft in the mouth. Just alright (hotel room, Levanger 20.11.2012)

Small white head. Slightly hazy paleish yellow body. Earthy mealy herbal aroma with perfumy notes. Dry-sweetish herbal coriander taste with perfumy grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dry herbal coriander aftertaste with smoky chalky notes. Really nice: harmonic and highly drinkable. (0.5 bottle shared by KnutAlbert. Batch #95.)

Hazy blond, low carboantion. Spicy nose. Coriander, but probably the yeast. Spicey, true to type, elegant. A bit vinous. Fine hoppy bitterness.

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a hazy dark straw-hued orange body with a medium white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast tones, sweet sugary notes, straw, hay and hints of honey and citrus. Taste is straw, pale malts, mild citrus, yeast and hints of hay. Medium to light body, OK, but not the most exciting from Klostergården.

A 0.5l breakfast-bottle fresh from #132 shared with Inbreak @ Hotel Room. The pour on this one is blurry and golden with a nice little white really lasting head that sticks a little bit to the side’s of the glass. I like this aroma. It’s really floral fruity with hay, a little bit of spices, wheat and a caramel buttery sweetness that is finding surprisingly enjoyable. It has a somewhat thin oily mouthfeel and the carbonation level is on the average side. In the taste I get dry hay and summery flavors. It has a really good bitterness that’s not letting go easily. Light traces of wheat and orange zest in the finish. Really lightdrinkable and quite good. Would not mind having this accessible in my grocery. 26.05.2013
