unfortunately, too high carbonation and little waterly. but you can find some traces of noble hops. also there is no bad smell. among korean lagers, kloud is quite good.

Pint at KFC in Seoul (of all places). It’s definitely at the more palatable end of the pale lager spectrum. There’s a far too creamy head but a nice citrus note in the body.

330ml bottle into lager glass. Crystal clear golden amber beer with thin white head. high carbonation. Very faint malt nose. Good body, zingy with a bit of a bite when swallowed. Finish has bubblegum, grains, metal and late pepper. Not bad, a bit harsh. I’m intrigued by its blurb which claims a water free original gravity recipe. Water free beer?

Pours clear golden with low white head. Aroma of malt, bread, citrus. Taste is sweet with a mild citrus finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

0.5 L bottle bought randomly at H Mart. Clear, bubbly, straw color, with a big, foamy, white head. The aroma is wet grass, biscuit dough, light pine sap, tin can, and some earth. Sweet up front, with a relatively pleasant bitterness through the finish. Light body, sticky, grainy, and oily. This is a pretty awful pale lager.

Dåse. Hotel i Seoul. Ikke så dårlig som de andre makrolagere. Her kan man rent faktisk smage en snert af humle. Håber at prøve lidt mikrobryg i Beer craft Valley i morgen.

On tap @ Lotte City Hotel, Ulsan. Hey, I Didn’t expect anything else than a crystal clear pale golden one, and that’s exactly what I got. Smells like it should, a little metallic, corn, sweet. Soft dusty, yet not repulsive at all. Tastes just like it’s supposed to also. Metallic lagerish pale malts with lager yeast and a little hay sweetness. Thin as water soup in the mouth and it’s fizzing on the lagerbubbles. It doesn’t sound much, and it ain’t either but it definitely gets the job done! 24.06.2016

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2016 33 cl bottle from a convenience store, 2200 KRW (1.60 €), into a plastic glass. Pale yellow color, small fizzy and bubbly white head quickly disappearing. (where’s the rich&smooth foam??). Aroma of wet cardboard with a remainder of malts, earthy grains and some sugar. At least it’s a pure malt one. Some noble hops in the finish (label says Hallertau), sweetish taste, light body, short sticky finish. 5/1/3/2/7=1.8

50 cl bottle from Sonamuyaa restaurant into a proper glass this time. Taste as above. At least the foam bursts up and has a decent persistence.. 5/3/4/2/8=2.2

On tap at Grill&Pub Lotte World. Extra cold, short creamy head, some persistence but no lacing, quite clean finish, vaguely dry. 5/3/4/2/9=2.3

Dose (50 cl) aus einem Supermarkt in Seoul. - Goldgelb, klar.
