3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Darker yellow with huge bubbly white foam head, lasting and lacing to glass. 1000cc bottle, so could try and taste, try and taste. Aroma is hoppy, so is taste, surprisingly for a German pils. Not sweet at all, good beer. Nice long lasting bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201209)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub. A sparkling, more or less clear, golden beer with a firm, dense, white head of moderate size. Grassy, spiced aroma with a good dash of pale maltyness. Slightly fruity too. Quite bitter on the palate, dry and smooth, with grass, fruits, pine cones and some hay. Lasting bitter finish. Served a bit warm, but still refreshing and quite tasteful. 110819

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the brewpub. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, brewmash, and hops. The flavor is sweet and very malty with light notes of sulphur, leading to a dry, bitter, and strawy finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught: Pale golden, hazy, small firm creamy head, lazy carbonation; pale-malty and hoppy nose with a faint "greenish" touch; moderate to robust, quite dry, bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering dry hoppy finish, accompanied by a light yeasty tartness and a faint fruitiness. A bit unbalanced, but far better than the usual german Hausbrauerei swill.............

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the brewpub
Hazy blond color. Nice hoppy aroma. Lean mouthfeel, some malt, but mostly a very strong hopping, well aromatic, but getting too bitter at the end. It has a grassy hop aroma and flavor too. A bit rough for my parameters, but enjoyable.
