3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at York Beer Festival ’13. Black with tan head. There is a heavy sweetness to this, very creamy, fruity, there is a wallop of alcohol too. Overripe plums along with a lactic sweetness. I struggled a little with this.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask conditioned handpump Friends Of Ham Leeds 14/11/12. A black beer with an off-white head and lace. Sweet and fruity with slight lactic notes. This has a nice body and is really smooth in the mouth. Good hopping comes through too. Very nice and tasty. Not as sweet and lactic as some milk stouts. I think you can tell this guy has a good brewing background (ex-Roosters)
