COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Knee Deep’s Batch 138 India Pale Ale is brewed with three types of C hops and Simcoe, which gives this West Coast IPA an aroma that resembles a cat that has peed in a pine tree. Batch 138 finishes dry and crisp and is sure to leave you in hop euphoria.

Excellent piney nose. Initial taste is a fresh pine note with a clear but manageable hop bite. Finishes with a smooth bready malt. One of the best single IPAs out there.

Pours a deep amber in color with creamy white head. Aroma is dank hops...some papaya and cat piss. Taste is pine and some bittering hops on the back end. A very well done dank bomb of hoppy goodness.

22 oz bomber. The beer pours to a yellow golden color with a medium white head. The aroma has a strong pine smell with some astringent & maybe cat pee. The taste has a strong bitter kick up front followed by a crisp pretty dry finish. Overall a good west coast IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

orange copper pour, some light, ample off white head. loads of pine resin, some citrus. reminds me alot of nugget nectar, but the hops are jot quite as bright. mouth is solid, finishes dry. a solid IPA.

Clear reddish orange with a one-finger white head. Tropical fruit aromas with lemon and caramel. Taste is similar, featuring an up-front bitterness followed quickly by a strong caramel base. Medium body, strong carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a clean and crisp finish.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, pine, citrus, some earthy notes, hints of grain, slight biscuit, bready notes in there with a hint of spice. Taste is a mix of orange grapefruit, orange, hints of grass, slight pine, finishing fairly bitter.

Pours hazy golden orange with a dense head, leaving big lacing on the glass. Aroma is orange peel, some pine, big bready malt backbone and some tropical/stone fruit aroma comes through faintly. Taste is similar, but all kinds running together with no distinction. Good beer, but not their best.

Bottle. Crystal clear light copper with a 1 finger white head. Aroma is mango, lemon and caramel. Taste follows suit but is a little too bitter even though the caramel picks up a bit in intensity. Clean and crisp mouthfeel with strong carbonation and a relatively dry finish. This is excellent although I wish there was a little more balance in the taste.

On tap @ Uncle Henry’s Deli. Clear golden pour with a white head. Lots of orange rind and pine hop aromas. A touch of peach and mango. Pretty nice doughy sweetness. Flavor is lightly bitter with a good sweet fruit and dough character. Lots of orange and grapefruit peel. A touch of peach skin. Not bad.
