Bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a very small head. Slightly metallic nose, though it’s in a glass bottle. Light on the taste and palate. Slightly malty flavor, though not much to it.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 SDalkoholic (1812) - Chula Vista, California, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Bottle from Best Damn Beer Shop: Had an aroma of grains and cereal and smelled similar to a wort boil of high quality fresh barley malt yet still has a faint background of grassy hops that made this seem rather appetizing to drink. Appearance was a natural golden blonde color with a topping of frothy head that retreated almost instantly. The drink is crisp with a clean taste of grained barely malt along with those grassy notes of hops that came through the nose. One of the better blond ales I have tasted from a bottle. Finish is gentle and smooth on the palate like a pilsner style sometime is.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ibrew2or3 (5823) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 6, 2012
22oz bomber pours clear deep gold with copper hues and thin off white head. The aroma offers up a light amount of lemon and lime like citrus notes on top and underneath there’s wort like grainy maltiness. Overall it comes together pretty nice. The taste has a modest tart citrus note that quickly picks up floral hops and a bit of spicy hops. Toward midway and into the finish it gets grainy to wort like and a little malty. The modest level of lemon lime like notes grow to tepid levels into the finish along with just a slight resiny hop notes.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Strykzone (3866) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Bomber sent by Hayduke. We shared a bottle via facebook chat. This was a huge gusher. A full shaker pint of foam and 1/4" of it was beer. That slowly changed and the foam was nice and lightly golden. The beer under it was very hazy golden and light brown. An aroma that offered some fruit and some yeast but not a lot of either. The flavor was also fruity with a bit of passion fruit. Yeast was also tasted. This was generally sour. It was softly hopped and the after taste was sulfur as in noble hops. I would have preferred a different hop variety. I do love that the ABV here is 4.2%, though.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 hayduke (2963) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 14, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 22, 2012 I had this in a shared tasting with Strykzone. It poured a hazy light orange amber. It raised a huge head that tool forever to settle. Massive lacing rings. The nose is light ripe fruit, flowers, and a hint of sulfur. Light in body. Fizzy in mouthfeel. The flavor is not strong and shows lot of light fruit. The more I drank it the better it got. Appreciated the reasonable ABV. Light bitter finish. Not an outstanding beer, but drinkable.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ChainGangGuy (4132) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUN 12, 2012
22 ounce bottle - $3.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. The bottle features what appears to be a new label, dumping the broad in favor of a little yellow Labrador pup.
Appearance: Pours out a clear, deep, dark golden body with a smallish, evaporating, white head.
Smell: Moderate scent of butterscotch candy over the basic two-row barley notes and faint hints of lemon and florals.
Taste: Lightly grainy, particularly pale malts. Pinch of powdered sugar. Very slight diacetyl rolling the sweetness into a little taste of butterscotch. Mildly floral, citrusy hops with a passable amount of bitterness, enough to balance things out. A bit more of the butterscotch escorts you to the drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Actually, even with the diacetyl, I thought it was an OK blonde.
