3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft. Mango and pine aroma, with a mild bitter taste with a long finish. Aroma is great didn’t really pick up the Belgian yeast. I very much enjoyed this twist on the Hoptologist.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Has been a couple of years since the Belgian IPA craze. Combination of pine, slight citrus and yeasty bread. Clear copper with a white head. Citrus more present on the flavor. Yeast well represented. Moderate high bittering. A little in unbalanced.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Average white diminishing head. Good lacing. Hazy orange. Heavy Grapefruit pine aroma, with a little of the belgian yeast mixed in. Full thick alcoholic feel. Long lasting flavor, a little bitter. Can feel the alcohol hanging around. Nice ale for gentle spring day.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle in San Diego. This is a big beer. The Belgian yeast flavors are muted, which is great for me, and the rest is all sorts of pine, citrus, herbs. Sticky oily. A bit too sweet but excellent job for a 9% DIPA.

4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice grassy aroma with a deep clear golden color and a small light beige head. Taste is semi sweet grassy pine goodness. Palate is slightly viscous and goes down smooth. A great brew I highly recommend.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a bomber into a pint glass a dark golden with a light tan head that laced down the side of the glass rather quickly.
Aroma is slight banana Belgium funk but a ton of lemony pine hop. Flavor is a sweet funky hop that overall was totally better than anticipated. Balanced. Would easily consume another bottle.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of tropical fruits, pineapple, candi sugar, and citrus/grapefruit. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a small soapy off-white head. There’s a good amount of thin webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with tropical fruits, faint banana, and candi sugar. The finish has moderate spice, grapefruit, and a hint of lemon peel. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation.
