COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MEPS is Knee Deep’s Monthly Experimental Pilot Series program. Every month Knee Deep will be brewing a small, 15 bbl. brew of something crazy, different, something one of our fans contributed, or simply anything the brewmaster wants to brew. If one of our fans contributes a beer idea/recipe we will invite that person to come to the brewery and brew the beer with us at the Lincoln, CA brewhouse. The contributor will also be intitled to take some of the finished beer home. (September 2012 - California Brown Ale)

On tap @ Uncle Henry’s Deli. Light brown pour with an off-white head. Aroma of cocoa puffs, roasted malt, and some toasted bread. Hint of graham crackers and coffee. Kind of bitter on the palate. Burnt grain, coffee grounds, and baking chocolate. Light toasted malt and cocoa puff sweetness. A hint of graham cracker as well. A touch watery.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear dark brown with a tan head. Aroma seems citrus. Med body. Flavor is citrus and a little chocolate brown malt. Maybe a little nuttiness with time.

baraciisch (1875) - USA - JAN 10, 2014
Reddish brown in color... Very aromatic citrus hop nose, notes of caramel malts... Flavor is remarkably dry for a brown and light bodied... Notes of nutty malts are secondary to big hop character... Nice twist on a brown... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
