08/12/15 bottle stamp pale copper pour with a thin white soapy head and decent sticky lacing .... Aroma of citra hops grapefruit, light lemon/lime, orange and tropical fruit notes ..... Taste is bitter and citrusy with grapefruit, lemon/lime, light pine and some caramel malt ..... Has a creamy and lingering bitter citrusy bite in the finish.... Kind of one dimensional but you can’t argue with citra hops

Awesome citra aroma. strong grapefruit and tropical fruit aromas. (citra is by far my favorite hop variety to brew with). golden and clear in color with a nice head. slight malt upfront, hoppy finish not overwhelmingly bitter.

22oz. bottle. Bright clear gold pour with some lacing. Dank citrus hops dominate the nose. Starts out hoppy and very citrusy with some subtle pine. Not much malt backbone. Bitter with clean crisp dry finish. Lacks sweet malts for balance.

Golden yellow pour, thick foamy white head. Nose is crisp orange peel and lemon rind. Sweet body a hoppy bite and a touch of mineral. Tasty, though there are some better examples of sites.

On tap. Powerfully hoppy with that citrus attack you’re expecting. Dry. Aggressive flavor for 7%

Pour to teku, impeccably clear bright-gold pour with erupting head (on account of a slightly inebriated pour). Nose is brightly juicy, slightly floral, biscuity malt. Flavor is clean, honey, colorful citrus juice, finish is very forgiving and sweet. Not as vibrant as I remember, or as many of their other brews, but a nice sessionable offering from these guys. Clocking in at a modest 45 IBU, it’s certainly not a hop-blasted assault, but retains enough balance and clarity worth appreciating.

Pours orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, grass, mild caramely notes and toffee. Taste is malty, citrusy and grassy with hints of pine and resin. Finish is sweetish, malty and citrusy with some caramel and grass. Okay, but a bit of a disappointment from Knee Deep. These guys can do better.

Pint at spirits pub & grub, Cary. Good aroma, sweet. Citrus. On the grapefruit lemon side of things. Clean orange gold color, ok head and lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. It’s good, as long as you like a big citrus beer, and I do.
