3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: pours clear deep golden, frothy pillows of white head. Nice lacing. Fresh citrus, grapefruit, fruity hops, some herbal burn on the nose. Light to medium bodied with resinous dryness, grassy and orange hops, just enough caramel malt sweetness. Comes off really fresh greenery. Pretty good

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
651mL. Pours a clear, deep orange. Weaker foam. Nose is butterscotch, vanilla, rich marzipan, yellow cake. Taste is big butterscotch, orange peel, sugary tea. Thicker, rich. Not really bright or even that Citra forward. Just a nice, juicy malt backbone. Perhaps not so fresh. Still, yummy.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Itís got hop-intensity and malt-density. Huge West Coast hoppy nose, sweet marmalade malt palate, refreshing finish. An excellent example of the West Coast IPA style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Dull orangish amber, slight haze, moderate to large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Pith and floral notes on the nose.   Faint mountain shrubbiness too.   Muted floral notes and soft pith on the tongue.   Light to moderate sweetness.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Flavorfull, but a little dull.   Certainly not all that bitter either.   Decent, even if a little dull.   Lingering shrubby notes.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle in Santa Barbara.
Deep golden-orange pour, decent head. In addition to the grapefruit, one really does pick up passionfruit in the aroma. Flavor is dry with a resinous close. I donít get so much lime as white grapefruit pith. A bit of heat late seems off for the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clean golden amber pour with thin white head. Super hoppy nose, lots of citrus and resinous hop oils. Some garlic and onion notes. Heavy resin and oil character in the flavor. Heavy bitterness on the finish with lots of oil.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Bottled 7/6/13. Definitely a citrus bomb. Concentrated, bitter citrus layers, passion fruit, fresh cut grass, sweet onion, hay, sex and cat pee nuances Mild carbonation, medium-medium-plus body, with a fair amount of raw bitterness. Lingering citrus finish, with medium bitterness. Although a little one note, it's a good, complex one note. Solid IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Color is golden blonde with a decent amount of foamy head. Aroma is of piney citric hops in a west coast fashion that also has a lingering scent of malts in the faint background. The flavor is bitter with a huge bite of citrus such as grapefruit flesh, lemon zest and lime peel while a touch of pine and green herbs. Certainly a heavy hitting beer in terms of IBUís considering this is only a pale ale style.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Good retention and lacing. Citrus, pine, not too malty. I really like this one.
