4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big time hoppy. Bought in a bomber. Would rate this more of an IPA due to the high levels of hop added. The citrus background notes behind the hops are very interesting and enjoyable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle thanks to Craig. Great tropical hop character. Noticeable diacetyl. Looks great but the diacetyl kills it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle purchased at Lone Hill Liquor in Glendora, CA-pours bright orange with a small soapy white head somewhat froathy looking. nose is mostly citrus and sugary malt (fortune cookie, lite sweet malt husks) however, this beer doesnt seem as bright as it once was-seems a bit muddled and slightly oxidized. however, what is here is a pretty solid beer. my main complaint with it is that its not very bitter. has some dry orange peal type finish however not bitter. i wonder what this was like when it was totally fresh? what is here is good, just not great. needs more bittering hops to make this very good. right now, the sweetness is a bit too much.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is pineapple, mango, passion fruit. Appearance is copper apricot clear w medium full tan head. Taste is malt forward. Pineapple, mango, passion fruit, apricot aroma hopping helps bring out the sweet light caramel malt. Grapefruit bitterness rounds out and lingers. Palate is medium. Starts off malty and then a firm grapefruit bitterness lingers. Overall a very nice beer. Very rare to find a lower gravity ale with lots of hops. Right up there with some of the best hoppy ales, which is nice to see in a new smaller brewery.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours deep copper with an eggshell head. Aroma had more malts than the vibrant citra that I was hoping. Taste followed suit and was more malt-forward with some bitterness. Good beer for the style, but a little too malty for my tastes.

Bomber from BevMo Salinas. Nose is piney hops with an ivy bit. Clear copper orange with a medium, heavy lacing, pale yellow head. Flavor is fairly lightly bitter with pine in the background.

4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber poured into a pint glass. Medium copper color with a fluffy head and minimal lacing. Aroma is citrus (grapefruit) with an alcohol presence that seems bigger than the 6.0% warrants.
My favorite part of this beer is the mouthfeel. It's full and slick with just the right touch of carbonation.
Overall, an enjoyable beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on 4/28/2012. This pale ale pours a medium copper gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is citrusy, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. A fairly aggressively hopped APA the hop bitterness stays around a while. Good carbonation. Nice crisp and clean beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Also paired at a WF Beer dinner, this was with the main course including a BBQ sauce infused with this beer with pulled pork, Mac and cheese and beans. Nice citrusy aromas and a some good bitterness on the taste with additional citrusness, nice grapefruit flavor. A good beer and an even better pairing.
