Finger and half of head on a clear, dark straw colored body. The aroma is light grapefruit and honey. Quite nice. The taste starts off with mild bitterness moving to moderate bitterness. There’s a sweetness in the background that keeps the profile balanced. A crisp texture with moderate carbonation and medium body. It’s a single-hop ale showcasing Citra hops.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium sized white head. The aroma is all Citra hops. Really nice fragrant citrus and florals. The taste is light bitter, dry citrus. Well done.

Amber, hazy. Strong citra nose is unfortunately quite chewy, either from crystal malt or age (it’s a few months old) or possibly both. Taste is similar, with moderate bitterness and some toastiness, but really lacking in brightness.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin white head that lasted until the second sip and left no lace. Pleasant aroma of grassy and grapefruit hops. The flavor begins with malt, but is quickly overrun with brash grassy and grapefruit Citra hops. Almost abrasive on the palate. I’m sure this one is a winner with the hopheads, but its a little overdone and unbalanced for me.

"A very nice example to showcase the yumminess that is the Citra Hop. Smooth and very aromatic and flavorful, without the bitterness usually associated with such an explosion of hops. tropical fruit citrus, buttery feel, lingering aftertaste. very nice for a pale, and a single hop pale at that!"

On draft. Big, juicy citrus aroma. Buy after that everything is kind of also. A good IPA, but nothing special.

Poured from bomber into a snifter. Aroma is of grass and straw. Appearance is a clear light golden orange with an almost nonexistent white head. Taste is slightly sweet grassy and grapefruit with a very slight bitter finish. Palate is nice with good carbonation. Overall a very good Pale Ale well worth seeking out. Cheers!

Poured from a bomber into a pint glass light orange yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is grassy grapefruit. Flavor is quite a mouthful of Citra. Acidic grapefruit. Some lime. Carbonated well and nice to the feel in the mouth. Not a huge citra fan but this is a better than decent brew.

22oz bottle pours a yellow amber color with a bit of head. Intense citrusy hop flavors and some good maltiness. A little harsh.

Picked up this 22 at Home Brew Stuff a week or so ago, but have since found it at all the usual haunts (COOP, Brewers Haven, Bier Thirty Etc.). Poured tonight into my CC Teku... Nice enough 1/2" white head... splotchy lacing atop a fairly clear orange brew. Nose shows a nice tangerine zest hoppiness with good melon and other tropical fruity hops... very dry aroma with no real maltiness to help the hops bloom out of the glass. Flavor is surprisingly tame... good hop presence, but is out of tune with the malts as there is only a dry crackery element to help with the hops... Good drinkability, but just an above average brew... I wanted to like this one more.
