Bomber from Xroads. Poured a cloudy amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma of grains, toast, old lemon zest, dried orange peel, bread crusts and a touch of cat piss. Flavor is toast, lemon zest, hint of lime, light orange peel, older citrus fruits basically. Medium body with a dry and bitter finish. Probably would help if Knee Deep didnt send 2 month old single hop pale ales to NJ considering they jist started distributing here two weeks ago.

These guys are artists with hops and this is the first that lands just above average. Honey pour with a small eggshell head. Tropical fruit, dusty, dirty, spicy...but missing something. Solid but not exceptional.

Bottle. Clear dark gold, white head. Candied citrus aroma. The taste adds apricot and star fruit. Malt balance. Very smooth and juicy, no bite or bitterness. Awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Mission Pizza. Nice light golden body. Slight citrus aroma. Flavor seems much more resiny than fruity. Not as much of that citra flavor I’m used to from a beer using the citra hop, but still a darn good brew.

Backlog. 22 oz bottle shared, from the Save Mart in Truckee. Golden orange and clear appearance with a lacy white head. Grapefruit, citrus hops, light spice, floral notes and moderate zesty bitterness with a smooth finish. Pretty tasty.
