Clearish-copper with sudsy white head. Moderately earthy hop character, rather dry with a lingering hop finish. A bit of earthy-hop aroma. Light palate, but flavorful.

BOTTLE. Light golden in colour with minimal white head.. Huge citra hop nose as expected, other sweet non citrus fruit in there.. Citrus hops throughout, subtle caramel malt in middle finishing with big hop kick & a long sappy aftertaste.. Sourced Cape Cellars

Extra par ale? Why confuse us with this name. It's an imperial IPA. Tasty. Hops are almost too intense. Unique but not something I would drink a lot of. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is honey , clove, cream and passion fruit. Taste is sweet malts, light toffee, caramel. A well balanced hop profile ensues leaving light tart, passionfruit and citrus. Appearance a cloudy gold/orange with a thin pearl head that retains quite well.

A citra bomb - Iím not a big citra fan but I canít fault this - great sweet caramel malt makes it balanced and super opulent.

Almost clear gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Very light malts, medium sweet. Lively citra hops bringing orange, tangerine and pink grapefruit. Whispers of pine and spice. Light finish. Hugely drinkable IPA. The hops are tasty and the malt base light. Light and with a lovely balance.

BOD 11/4/15. Pours a clear gold with a bit of amber. Outstanding head volume, world class lacing and retention. Outstanding nose of grapefruit, passion fruit and a touch of lime over pale malt with a strong dose of grainy biscuit. Heavy light body that is smooth with a hint of oiliness. Superb carbonation level that is in balance with the body. The middle has a bit of effervescence and the finish is prickly. The flavor profile is quite outstanding and allows the Citra hop to shine. Intensity is appropriate for the style, as is bitterness. Balance is world class. It begins with grapefruit then flows into a moderate middle bitterness. Passion fruit emerges post middle bitterness over a fairly sweet base (cracker biscuit) with notes of caramel. Towards the finish, a lime influence emerges creating a nice contrast with passion fruit. The finish is a slow fade of slightly sweet zest and lime with a slight dryness coupled with an earthy dankness.
