Bomber from Imbibe Wine. Nose reeks of resin, earthiness, and a hint of asparagus to contrast with the sweet fruity hop notes.Brick orange with a medium pale tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet with light bitterness and a light alcohol warmth. Would be great in brandy barrels!

22oz bottle from Triangle Wine. Morrisville. Good aroma sweet, fruity pine.lots of citrus, peach. Some pine. Not getting the 13% in aroma. Clean brownish orange color, ok head that faded quick, spotty lace. Bittersweet flavor. thick body, oily viscous mouthfeel, bitter sweet dry finish. Better than I thought going into it. Only get abv on finish. Pretty sweet. Itís ok in the scheme of things. Aroma is best part. Flavor ok but tad more bitter than aroma. Harsh on finish.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2014 Golden apricot-hued liquid poured into a tulip presents with a huge aroma; pine and dense mandarin orange. The foam is small and tight, off-white and instantly starts to vapor off, leaving behind a very sticky lace on the glass. The palate is heavy, sticky and the taste sweet; the bitter of the hops underlying but definitely a presence. Malt balance is nice, but there is no escaping the boozy kick to the flavor of this brew. The finish is slightly bitter, but not long. I donít feel as though itís trying to prove itself, but only showing off itís tough side. Knee Deep has an undeniable hold on this particular edge on flavor, and every time I try a new one, this edge gets sharper. Absolutely hot at 13.1, wholly flavorful and utterly balanced. Iíll take it.

Fantastic, lush tropical and citrus aroma. Slight grain offers nice support. Very hazy golden-light orange with full white head that collects and patterns down the glass nicely. Taste is freshly squeezed citrus juice, bubblegum and overt pine. Moderate high bitterness.

"One of several huge IPAs had over the 1st Sac beer weekend, and one of the best. Ridiculous amunts of hop oils balanced by a sweet fruity and floral aroma and flavor. Bitter, but never too much. Great body. Not quite my KD favorite (still Simtra) but definitely a hop headís delight."

Almost indistinguishable in appearance from my parentsí coors light, though it is a bit deeper gold. Spruce, floral notes, some cat piss. Pretty smooth drinker, almost sweet but tempered by alcohol and bitterness. Flavor doesnít quite come together and leaves a sticky, cotton mouth after taste. A noble attempt.
