3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is almost all hops. Lots of tropical fruit, peaches, orange and other citrus, an pine resin. A touch of caramel malt in the aroma. Some alcohol in aroma and a touch fusel, but not too bad.
Pours a clear gold with copper notes an slightly off white head that retains a thin layer on top and along the edges for quite some time.
The flavor is similar to the aroma but the hops aren't as assertive. The hop flavor is still fruity with citrus and pine, but there is a lot more caramel malt character as well. The bitterness is strong and there is a touch of hop astringency, but it's not too bad. The alcohol is present in the flavor but only in the finish and it helps clear the malt sweetness.
The mouthfeel is smooth and somewhat creamy. There is low astringency from the hops. Lots of warming character from the alcohol. A bit sweet, but too be expected for this high of alcohol content.
Overall a pretty good beer, but I think I just don't like triple IPAs; too much alcohol for me. I like boozy stouts and hop bomb DIPAs but triple IPAs are too much for me. This is a fairly good version though; the alcohol isn't overpowering and the hops and malt are balanced. I guess I would like less caramel though.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer is a clear copper color with a medium ivory white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is hoppy up front with a mild alcohol burn in the aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beer pours with a nice white head above a golden colored liquid that has a tinge of reddish when it is not being held up to the light. Aroma is too light for my taste but a funky dank smell is somewhat apparent. Taste is not very complex but is instead balanced with alcohol and some decent malts. I think if the alcohol contributed more flavor it might actually balance this beer out more. The hops seem a bit "Mono-hopmatic". Overall it is a decent beer but with regards to he other triple ipa’s I have had this one simply does not hold a candle.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber thanks to Kasey! Pours deep orange to amber. Some sticky lacey head remains. Nose is sweet malts, faint tropical fruits, pines, resins, citrus, peppery hops. Flavor sweet malts, tropical fruit, citrus, pine resin medium high bitterness with a noticeable alcohol warming finish. Surprisingly dry for such a big beer. Medium full body. A good beer but the best bigger IPAs are not all that big in my opinion. Alcohol gets in te way of hoppy goodness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from 22oz bottle. Pours carmel in color with thin white head. Aroma is apple cider mixed with dank hops. Taste is caramel and hops. Is this thing aged on wood at all, as it seems to have a bit of oak in there too. Who knows.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber to snifter. Looks good; a transparent orange with off-white lacing. Impressive clarity for the abv. Smells and tastes hoppy, malty, and boozy. Average on the palate; a little hot. Still, an enjoyable beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 ounce bottle. It just showed up at the store I buy most of my beer at, so I assume it’s fresh enough. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a clear orange/amber color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is mostly citrusy hops (tropical fruit, grapefruit, oranges), along with some pine hops and caramel malt. The taste is bitter and hoppy, with the pine/resiny hop flavor being the strongest. The citrusy (tropical fruit, grapefruit) hops get stronger as the beer warms, and there is caramel malt noticeable too, but I really pick up the bitter pine hops in this brew. The bitter finish lingers around for a long time. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s slick and a bit sticky with moderate carbonation. I like this brew a lot, definitely worth a try! $8.99 a bomber.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at La Cave à Bulles, Paris; 11.3% ABV
Clear amber color, bright, small head. Strange feeling, the aroma of resiny hops is so strong that it becomes almost nutty (hazelnuts), and manure. Full bodied, with round mouthfeel and some flavor of crystal, but not thick or sticky, luckily; strong flavor, with powerful hopping, mostly resiny, piney, and very moderate fruitiness. Long and extreme final.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Valley Farm. Pale amber in color. Pungent hop bitterness, along with a bit of a sweet aroma. Rich hop character up front. Malty and slick. Good spicy hopped finish. Some alcohol is noticeable. Tasty, but not as good as Simtra.
