From a bottle at THE LOCAL Beer Bar in Eureka, CA. Pours a rich gold with a good sized beige head and light lacing. Nose a a very powerful citrus and pine. Medium plus body with resin mouthfeel. The flavor is light malts with a lot of taste mostly of pine and citrus hops. Good bitterness. The finish is long, dry, and bitter. This is a true hop monster. Loved it. .

UPDATED: APR 9, 2016 22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, light caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, honey, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an excellent big imperial IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt sweetness; and very smooth and easy to sip on for the huge ABV. This was well attenuated on the malt sweetness for the ABV as well. A very enjoyable offering.

650ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon and pineapple, malty basis has notes of almond . Taste is bitter hoppy, piney, notes of pineapple and lemon on almond malty basis. Heavy and overhopped beyond sensible impact, dense and constricted.

Wow, so smooth. A triple ipa? Easy drinking. Aroma is heavy with pineapple. I was told itís grapefruit and pine, thatís the taste. ..not the scent. Scent is completely pineapple and hops. Amazing. Taste is deeply better grapefruit casing, not juice, no sugars. There is pine but it isnít overt, more subdued by hops and the citrus tastes and scents. Light golden hue and clear. Would want on my shelf. Tap

Bottle. Pours out a mostly clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of astringent hop oils, sweet/bitter fruit, Pine sap, some floral notes, and alcohol burn. Taste is a sharp dose of acidic, piney, resin hops, lots of bitterness, some light tangerine, evergreen, some mild sweet malt, and a moderate alcohol note. This is a big, bitter beer.

On tap at Caponeís. Poured a golden color with a small sized head. Citrus and pine. Nice and hoppy with the alcohol content well hidden.

650 ml bottle purchased at Redstone Liquors, Andover location. Nose is much like the Lupulin River, big pine with light traces of fruit. This has a some dankness that I didnít find in Lupulin River.

The texture on this has some hop oils with a slick texture over the tongue. The booze shows itself and it makes itself known. Which is why I prefer Lupulin River much more. Booze is lightly distracting. Still the fruit pine and sweet malts give this a certain level of drinkability.

Peachy Orange looks. Itís very juicy IPA, smooth, fruity and sweet. The nose is strong, almost barley winey. Smooth, light and almost tropical in the mouth. Very little bitterness, which is astounding considering the advertised 133IBU.

Lots of chinook. Generally a hop I avoid, in this case not so bad. The Centennial adds some nice floral citrus contrast in both the aroma and flavor. A touch boozy but still easy to drink for the monster ABV.

Tap at Apex. A: Cloudy gold color, thin white head. N: Grapefruit, mango, pineapple, biscuit, pine, orange peel, fruit loops, and plenty of residual sugars. T: Very sweet and fruity; not at all bitter. M: Alcohol heat, resinous heavy body, soft carbonation. O: A fruit bomb. Easy to drink without PtYís scraping bitterness. A different beast for sure, but one I might choose for my palate over the more famous IIIPA.

On tap at apex. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. A big sweet fruity resin hop nose. The flavor is big resin, oranges, sugary sweet, pine. Huge. Hot. Gin alcohol burn. Good.
