Bomber from waterboy, thanks Ric! Shared with ck1 on Spit Cup weekend. Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma is hoppy sweet with caramel and pineapple. Taste is citrusy, with grapefruit and pineapple. Solid underneath with caramelly malt. Some alcohol presence too. Medium bodied and sticky. Finishes citrusy bittersweet. Solid one. 14.3

65 cl bottle.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Some kind of fruity aroma, too sweet. Flavor follows the same lines. Sweet and not tasty. Not my thing.

65 cl bottle @ tiong. Bottled(?) 09.02.?
Aroma has strong citras notes with caramel and citrus. Also some sweet malty tones and caramel.Flavour has very strong boozy tones, fruits, caramel and hoppy tones, Burning alcohol too. Not sure what to think of this, but booze comes through too much anyway. Also too much glue here at the second glass.

lusikka (6523) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 13, 2014
650 ml bottle. Pours a golden colour with a small head. Aroma of orange sweetness, rich herbal notes, floral hops and citrus. Rich flavour of herbal hoppiness, floral notes, orange sweetness, grass, rich citrusy notes and some sweetness. Full bodied. Thick mouthfeel. Alcohol warms nicely. Really pleasant lingering bitter, sweet, juicy fruity finish. Great stuff.

650ml bottle from Whole Foods Bowery, New York @ Varjopikkujoulut

Bottled 09/02/14 - Pours clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of booze, floral hops, caramely malts, toffee and citrus. Taste is pure hoppiness with some booze, floral notes, caramel, toffee, citrus, pine, resin and fruits. Finish is floral, herbal and slightly malty with loads of lingering bitterness and hoppiness. Long lasting hoppy burps. Heavy and extreme stuff.

Bomber from Tamura’s wine in Lahaina Amber orange color, Nice light tan head. Falls to a thin collar. Some ABV lacing. Nose is a pine assault. Lots of pine, backed with citus. and caramel malt. Highly bittter at first but slowly backs off. ABV is aggressive but also mellows off pretty well. Total palate wrecker at first but does mellow off well. Lots of resin in this. Palate made the whole beer worth it.

bnoel09 (444) - Elk Grove, California, USA - NOV 21, 2014
Poured from the bomber into a snifter glass. Medium amber color with a thin cream colored head. Aroma has some caramel malt notes with a big dose of hops and some orange. Very fresh wet hop smell with floral and resinous notes. Flavor has some sweet malty notes, but quickly gives way to a huge dose of hops with some light peppery notes. Mouthfeel is thinner than I would have expected, but it just makes it that much easier to drink! This definitely has some bitterness, but it is actually incredible drinkable considering the ABV and IBU. Overall this is quite delicious!

Draft at the rye house NYC. Pours a bright copper color with no head. If a stereotypical overt hopped west coast beer needed and example this would be one of them. Good if you like the style but needs to be sipped
