2/11/15 From bomber dated 12/24/14. Strong pine resin aroma. Very hoppy and not as well balanced as Pliny. Strong with strong aftertaste. Grapefruit and dank tasting. Ok but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle. Tasted on 2/2/15. Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Aroma has a very dank hop aroma with strong notes from the Citra. The taste is overly hoppy with a gray smooth flavor. An outstanding triple IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Glowing golden-orange body, thin off-white head, soapy lacing. Lively grapefruit and orange marmalade, sweet pale malts and a little bit of resin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, mild sweetness, assertive bitterness. Big.

Light amber color. White head with quick dissipating head. Big sweet malty nose with lots of tangerines which works well with the sweet maltiness. The mouth is very big with lots of maltiness, but alcohol is relatively well hidden. Stone fruits. Well integrated, but probably could be better with slightly less alcohol. Big tangerine and citrus finish. Yummy stuff.

Bottle from City Beer Store, SF. Clear golden, solid offwhite head. Orange zest, grapefruit, herbal hop aroma. Also some spiciness in the mouth. Very bitter, but with a solid malty backbone. A good one.

Bottle poured an orange amber color with a thin coating of off white head. Aroma has big hop punch, citrus, sweet tropical goodness, sweet malted core, with light alcohol. Mouth feel is medium with good coating and average carbonation. Flavor has a crushing dose of hops, citrus, tropical, not overly bitter, and a big malted core punching out some heat.

22oz bottle thanks to Adam. Pours out a orangeish golden topped with a white head. Nose is tropical fruit citrus hops and a nice caramel sweetness. Taste is tons of hops 3x from a normal ipa. More of the tropical fruit citrus big grapefruit pithy bitterness and heavy malt bill. I liked this one.

Pour is orange to light brown, can’t see through haze, with a thin off white head. Aroma is caramel, pine, tropical fruit. Flavor is much the same. Nice pine and dank hops get quickly overpowered by malt and caramel. Drinks and pours more like a hoppy barleywine. Finish is bitter and lasting after the caramel fades. Very big and barley-like. Maybe fresh off tap would be a better dipa. Still worth trying if you like the big stuff!
