Bottle pour clear dark gold with large white head. Nose huge tropical fruit, citrus, and resin. Taste grapefruit bite up front, then resin. Some citrus, then comes dank and bitter. Late palate heat from alcohol. As it warms, more mango and sweet malt appear, balancing the alcohol. Long bitter finish. Thick mouth feel.

Such a huge heavy-hitter that could knock a normal person on their ass. Showcase of huge hop aroma with massive citrus flavors--pretty damn dry. This is a big-time beer that will blind side you if not ready. Serving Size: 22oz bottle.

Kicking back on a gorgeous fall afternoon, and this is the perfect beer for it. Big and bold in all categories, rich and powerful. Tasty, smooth with a kick. Pleasant alcohol burn from start to finish.

Amazing aromas. Well Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic what else to expect. Crystal clear with white head. It starts with sweet alcohol hop flavor. Not enough hop to balance the big beer. Exceptional overall

Aromas of big fresh, wet hops, tangerine juice, apricot, massive pines, orange, pineapple, caramel malt, resinous hops and earth. Appearance is a clear gold copper with a thin white foam head. Taste is incredibly fresh and crisp with notes of caramel malt, harsh pines, harsh bitterness, harsh resin, harsh hop oils, orange, tangerine, biscuit malts, cracker malts, toasted malts, honey, grapefruit, citrus and lemon. Finishes dry with extremely piney and bitter hops. Aggressive boozy burn. Overall, this is a real treat. This beer has a really solid body to it but the hops just take the show. Such a piney, dank, resinous, oily hop forward beer. Would DEFINITELY buy again.

It’s not often that these guys miss...beautiful 10 karat pour with a small ivory pour. Incredible tropical fruits, hint of dustiness, bit of pepper, and loads of citrus brightness. Yum!

On tap at Enzo’s BBQ in Oceanside, CA. Pours a rich orange gold with a thin but dense white head that leaves good lacing on the tulip glass. Aroma is big orange, floral and grapefruit hops and a huge caramel malt backbone with some alcohol in the back. Taste is candied orange/tangerines, sweet malts and alcohol, but the alcohol isn’t overwhelming for an 11.3%abv 3x IPA. Palate is surprisingly refreshing and not sticky for such a big beer. Another well done IPA from Knee Deep.

Pours a fairly clear, golden burnt brown with slight head retention. Nose is intensely hoppy with some pine notes and some sweet malt. Starts with a bitter pine hop. It’s sweet with caramel malt on the tongue and a medium bodied feel. It finishes pretty boozy but has a sweet aftertaste. It’s fairly good but definitely stronger. It reminds me of a maltier hi-res but that’s probably the mouth feel and high alcohol content. Not a starter beer but for those into triples like myself it’s worth checking out. (I’d rank it below simtra)
