Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a white head. Aroma is fruity and citrus. Med body. Flavor is fruity and suddenly that citrus that is almost like pine. Lots and lots of hop. It’s a bit sweet, but there’s enough hop to solve that. Extremely tasty.

Bomber from Whole Foods and Capone’s, and my cherry popper for this brewer. Pours clear golden with fluffy, 3-finger, white head that provides spare lacing. Nose is intense, huge piney hops, pineapple, honeydew, mango, white pepper. Tastes rich, very hoppy, with big notes of resin, pine, pineapple, mango, tangerine, melon, and white pepper. A bit hot late. Very complex and juicy. This one is a hop lover’s wet dream.

Cask at Pony Bar HK - NYC. Pours clear, shiny gold with a frothy white head. Rotten citrus on the nose, marmalade, damp white bread. Heavy sweet flavor, stingingly boozy, with more marmalade, gooey pine, melon, slight bubblegum. Full bodied, softly carbonated, chewy and oily. Warming finish, thick and resinous, with prominent alcohol, orange, jammy citrus. Why on earth would they have this on cask? It’s not bad, but my goodness it is thick and chewy. Would be better suited for keg.

Pale copper orange pour with a thick foamy soapy off white head and lots of lacing ..... Aroma of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, oranges and piney hops ..... Taste is of citrus rinds, grapefruits, oranges, mangos, pineapple, nice tropical fruit flavored from the mosaic hops and some bitter piney hops mixed with a caramel malt backbone .... Has some warming abv to it .... Kind of smooth despite the ibu number .... Mouthfeel is slick and oily ... Finish is bitter with a lingering tropical/citrus fruit and bitter hop punch .... Well done

9/2/15. Growler from Beer Durham. Nice rich hoppy nose. Boozy mouthfeel with a round somewhat dark hop favors. Lacks some of the complexity I was hoping for. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very tasty. Light for the % which is something they seem to do very well. Bright and hoppy, warm in the throat and belly. Piney and tropical in the hop character.

Pours a hazy gold Amber with a moderate head. Smell is pine forest deep and rich. Taste is bitter and less sweet - spruce hops and spice with a mild malt and a bit of burn.
