Part of the MEPS series. An American Double India Pale Ale that packs a punch when it comes to hops. The aroma and flavors will give you citrus and pine with a slight malt sweetness that finishes dry.
Malts – a blend of Canadian, German, Chile and United Kingdom malts
Hops – Cascade, Citra, Columbus, Magnum and Hersbrucker

22oz bottle. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrus and caramel mostly with some light alcohol and fruit. Flavor is lots of bitter hops, some sweet caramel and a light alcohol warming. Medium body with average carbonation and a long bitter finish. Really nice IIPA, lots of hop flavor, aroma and bitterness but well balanced with the caramel malt.

Thanks to Pari9689 for the share. Cheers, Sam! Pours a copper color with an off-white head. Nose is light caramel, huge pine, and slight grapefruit. Flavor is similar: big grapefruit and pine with light malt. Medium in body and very bitter grapefruit in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Lively carbonation and tons of lacing. This is a hop bomb in the nose, taste and finish just the way I like it. High citrus notes through the entire experience. Strong finish that makes your butt cheeks pucker. 9% ABV? I can only tell by being buzzed.

Bomber from BevMo. Highly hopped, slightly sweet nose. Flavor is well hopped. Solid malty backbone. Finish is grapefruit. Easy drinking with no sign of alcohol.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook chat. Poured a clear bright amber with a creamy and robust off-white head and moderate lacing. Nose is roast caramel malts and a lot of hops, with pine, flowers, and citrus. Full bodied Good mouthfeel. Flavor is very potent with a lot of hops. Bitter finish. Great beer.

Bomber from Hayduke. We enjoyed a bottle together via facebook chat. This coppery hued beer had more clarity than I expected. It had yeast sediment on the bottom that came loose by rolling the bottle. An aroma of citrus, pine and caramel seems to be classic west coast IPA. There are a lot of hops tasted. Citrus and pine and both are big. Malt balances well and it is as complex as the hops. Pale malts, biscuits, caramel, and more. Somewhere in the middle I tasted metal but that faded. The alcohol was not tasted but was definitely there. This beer tried to do a lot, and it succeeded in doing most of it.

Bottle. Better than Pliny, if you believe the guy at Whole Foods. Pours a copper orange color with a light white head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, peach and apricot. Medium mouthfeel. Fruity with a slight lingering bitterness. Alcohol is subdued. Overall, pretty tasty.

dark orange gold color. Grapefruit spice on the nose, some pine as well. Very easy drinking for this big of a beer. Backend bitterness but pleasant hop flavors all the way through. A solid double IPA

Bottle: The aroma consists of caramel, toffee, candi sugar, and aged citrus hops. It pours a transparent orange with a small soapy white head. The flavor starts with with moderate caramel and toffee. The finish has light aged citrus hops. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, obviously not fresh. I’d like to try a fresher sample.
