The aroma is very hoppy with some malt. The appearance is light orange gold with a small head. The taste is bitter and astringent with some malt. The palate is average. Overall this is not my favorite.

bonber..The hop aroma hit me head on...unremarkable golden color...plenty hoppy with a very piney flavor....nice malty aftertaste. Good but eh hops dont balance as well as a Hop Stoopid...

22 oz. bottle shared by Keir- thanks again, Keir! Pours a mostly clear, deep golden color with a small white head. The initial blast of the aroma is sweaty, dank, herbal hops, but then a minute passes and it’s mostly sweet and malty, with some tangerine citrus. Flavor of herbal hops, citrus peel, sweet malts, and sugar. Medium-bodied, with a dry, bitter mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. The initial smell made me think it’d be a little better than it was, but still a very solid DIPA.

Bomber poured a clear amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthines, skunk bud, grapefruit, pine and mango. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, skunk bud, grapefruit, pine and light mango with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Thanks to Brad for bringing this bottle to our most-recent tasting. Served in a SAVOR wine glass. Pours a moderate orange-copper color with a good white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose carries a bit of citrus and a bit of bready malt in the background. Not quite integrated and the hops aren’t molding and popping like I’d like. The flavor follows the same track. Decent body with some bitterness through the finish. Decent enough, but the label was likely my favorite part.

Bomber thanks to Randy G. Pours lighter than most DIPA, not as orange. Very persistent thin head with excellent lacing throughout. Aroma is a balance of citrus, resin, and significant malty bread, not real sweet malt (good!). Taste is similar so I assume there’s more UK malt than American. Given the name, I assumed there would be more hop presence. To be sure, it’s there in a mighty way, and it’s excellent. But there’s more in flavor and bittering, and not as much in aroma which is where I expect the mother lode to be. A bit of earthiness on the back end. Pliny is tame next to this guy.

Bomber. Bright gold and mostly clear. Nose is relatively mild with a faint hoppy profile. Taste is a bit sweet, with a piney, cloying brown sugar taste with a nice bitter end. Body is heavy and sticky. Decent but I would prefer a little lighter profile and body.
