4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Den här ölen verkligen växte på mig, den var bra vid första klunken men galet bra vid den sista slurken. Smaken var balanserad med toner av grapefrukt, persika, äpple och ananas.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bäst balanserad Imperial IPA på väldigt länge. Kraftig i aromen och smaken. Men den kraftiga humlen fångas upp av en fin fyllighet. Tydliga inslag av tropisk frukt.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear light amber with an initially large white head that faded to a ring and lasted, in ring form, throughout the glass which took me about 2 minutes. Aromas of pine and citrus fruit. Taste is bracingly bitter, some sweetness in the middle and finishes with a long bitter aftertaste. A fucken palate shredder, for sure. But with exquisite fruit. Pretty damn tasty.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours copper with light-yellow highlights, inch head and lasting lace, big piney, citrusy hoppy nose, hides its 9% ABV with a beautifully balanced malt and hop middle palate, finishes clean and crisp. A benchmark high-gravity beer without the heavy alcoholic taste.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thanks Joe T for sharing! burnt orange. red hues ,no head. Nose is huge with pine cone. taste is malt forward, more malty that you’d expect for an IPA called "hoptologist" should be called "Maltopolist w/ hops" caramel and sugary sweet, very bitter, mostly pine resin.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location/Date:Bottle on August 16th, 2013.
Appearance: Pours an orange opaque.
Aroma: Light pine, citrus, biscuit malt.
Taste: Medium bitterness, some light pine, citrus.
Palate:Medium body, slightly sticky, lingering aftertaste.
Summary: I don’t know if my bottle was old, but this was just okay. The amount of hops in the front isn’t as high as expected for a DIPA. Decent.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark amber, dense white head. Aroma is lots of fresh, leafy hops, floral with a bit of cat pee. Flavor is also quite floral, a deep malt backbone. Tons of flavor here, but overall I found it a bit harsh and unbalanced. A good dipa, but not a great one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to tulip
Kind of a skunky, spruce, alcohol, plum. Yellowish amber with a bubbly ring like head. Peppery, orange, and bitter.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle - Skunky hops, grassy, orange, vegetative, piney, weird but good. Clear copper with a thin brown head. Orange, candy floss, sweet malts and a nice well balanced bitterness. Another great IPA from these guys.

Pour is orangish copper with a cream colored head. Nose is hoppy with notes of pine, mango, pineapple and citrus. Taste is nice with good hop bitterness and malt backbone. Malt is more present than hops but still a nice flavor not the most complex dipa but good. Mouthfeel is light/medium.
