Burnt orange in color... Aroma of citrus hops, toffee malts... Flavor is intensely bitter but nicely balanced by a firm caramel malt presence... Citrus hops on the finish... Tastes like a more dry, less sweet, DFH 90 min IPA... Delicious ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 22oz bomber. Pours a clear amber with little to no head. Smells of mango, citrus, sweet malt, and pine. Taste is quite bitter throughout the sip, with some citrus and tropical fruits and a slight maltiness. Body is good with a slightly sticky resinous finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle from Lee Discount Liquor, Las Vegas
Clean amber color with creamy head. Very nice aroma, hoppy, fresh, fruity; later, the animal side shows too. Good body strength, not too thick; caramel and toffee flavor, with just an acceptable touch of crystal malt; moderate sweetness; strong hopping, with loads of piney resins, reasonable fruity contribution; the final is a bit, pleasantly abrasive; long. It manages not to be chewy.
Excellent.

Orange and west coast flavour. Great hop aroma. The 102 IBU is an assault, yet good malting with caramel that makes this very smooth and drinkable. Mike’s bottle from SF.

SF Beer Week event on Draft. Appearance is a clear and visible carbonation. Aroma is hoppy with sour fresh grass. The bitter taste is well balanced with some toasted malts notes. Great beer but the bottle conditioned version was better honestly.
