Bomber to overaized snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a transparent burnt-orange with off-white lacing. Smells solid; bitterly hoppy, malty, and a little boozy. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Good, but a little hot.

Bottle shared by sloth! Copper orange in color, nice head. Smells hoppy! Piney, with a resin note. Taste follows the nose... Piney, citrus and lots resin... Bitter slap to the face... The resin really came through. Medium body. The alcohol is well hidden for a 9 percenter... Overall: Nice DIPA. Enjoyable.... thanks for the beer(s) bert!

Large off white head, lasting with nice, sticky lace. Clear, copper/orange color. Nice spicy hop nose, fruity and juicy with citrus and some melony notes. Full bodied with good carbonation level and gets a bit resiny as it warms. Tasty, juicy hops, resiny and sticky with a gentler toasty malt backing though the hops are the hero here. Just the way i like,m! Nice dry, perky finish, good solid bite. Nice beer.

Bomber. Pours light amber, dark golden. Small white head. Aroma bread, citrus, floral, slight dough. Medium sweetness to start. Hop floral bite just right. Medium body with an oily resin undertone. Finishes with nice bitterness. A very good DIPA. I think this is much more balanced than Simtra. Would drink again.

Bottle:   Fiery amber, clear, light carbonation, moderate to large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Big citrusy nose, pithy, a little bit candyish.   Strong pithy start on the tongue.   A bit sweet, candyish, but it pales compared to the pithy aspects.   Citrusy on the backside, pithy, slight sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Big citrusy finish, but in the pithy sense, not the sweet candyish aspect.   Decent IIPA, but not as big/malty as others.   Overwelmingly pithy, just a jungle of citrus peel.   Very bright in that aspect, so hard to knock it down.   Oh yeah, finishes extremely pithy, wishing for a more sweet malty compliment to the finish.   Not a terribly big IIPA, but a bit of a bruiser without the sweetness like others.   Okay.... I’ve said too much... its a kick in the junk.

Pours golden brown, transparent with a thick off white head. Nose is light pine and citrus with big caramel from the english malt. Taste is sweet, with a mild hop bite. More like an english double IPA. Mouthfeel is oily and coats well, body is heavy and finish is long.

Bottle... Pours mostly clear and orange with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aromatics consist of tea biscuit, fruitcake and grapefruit with a hint of resin. Medium to full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. The flavor presents lots of citrusy, rindy bitterness alongside modest fruitcake sweetness. Lengthy, bitter, grassy finish. Bottle courtesy of growler!

Bottle shared by Darrell. Thanks man. The beer appears a murky orange color with a small, white head. Decent aroma with hops in the front and sturdy malt bill behind. A bit sharp on the palate. Hops first, followed by a healthy malt presence. Not balanced particularly well. Medium bodied with solid carbonation. Lingering pine and hops with subtle notes of alcoholic warmth. Overall, an ok beer. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 12-17-2011

Overall, OK, but too many bittering hops, not enough aromatic ones. The aromatic hop notes were nice, however.

Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium to heavy earthy citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bittesweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.
