Almost a finger of head with a copper body. The aroma is mostly grapefruit with a lemon injection. The taste is a bold bitterness beginning to end. A honey sweetness playing in and out keeping a good balance overall. A crisp texture with moderate carbonation and medium body. A good DIPA.

Bottle. Opaque amber color, rich off-white head. Sweet hop aroma. Strong, hoppy flavor with grapefruit. Full body, medium carbonation. Classic example of the style.

Pours amber with a large head. Nose shows pine, resinous hops, and sweet-smelling clean malt. Flavours include more pine and resinous hops as well as soft spicy and grapefruit notes. Also some light clean malt followed by an aggressive bitterness.

650ml bottle from Beer Cartel. Hazy amber beer, thick off-white head., decent lace. Aroma and taste is like an early morning stroll through a grapefruit orchard followed by a pine forest, with some caramel malt counterbalance. Medium-full body with a big dry resinous hop bitterness and the ABV hardly noticeable. A hop monster!

Seems Knee Deep can’t put a foot wrong - superb DIPA - so drinkable - alcohol invisible - great hops perfectly balanced with sweet caramel malt - bloody lovely.

On tap at Bloodhound Bar. Great example of the style, heaps of hop flavour and aroma, a decent alcohol punch. Liked it a lot.

Aroma is tart clove, citrus, grapefruit and pine needles. Taste if a deep hop profile that overshadows the light malt sweetness. Tart is left with some light funk. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Strong hoppy aroma, pine, grapefruit, resin, earthy. Pours a clear golden color with small bubbly white head. Strong hoppy flavor of grapefruit and pine, bready malt, caramel. Medium full bodied, medium co2, lingering but soft hoppy bitter finish. Enjoyable DIPA. Not crazy over the top like most. Well balanced considering style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
