Bottle. A copper color with a white head. A sticky fruity hop filled aroma with a slightly sweet long bitter hoppy flavor. It finishes dry with a long aftertaste and enough malts to keep its backbone.

650ml bottle, pours cloudy gold, with a small frothy white head. Aroma is big on hops, grapefruit, lemon, mango, lots of pine, over a full malt body with caramel and bready notes. Medium full body with an oily resinous texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. All in all just what I expect from a quality US DIPA

Pours very hazy and almost milky maize with a foamy yellow-white head that fades to a rim and coating. No lacing. Aroma is sweet citrus with some floral notes. Taste is dry, bitter, short and without too much subtlety. Some grapefruit and a bit jammy. Aftertaste is chalky bitterness. Average.

Pours clear gold with a silky white head...great lacing and retention. Aroma has nice subdued stonefruits, a touch of melon, and some herbal and grassy notes...lots going on and delicately working well together. Flavor follows suit...really nice peach and mango that turns I to great herbal hoppiness...firm but not aggressive bitterness...ABV is masterfully hidden. Mouthfeel is light and silky with a dry herbal/rindy finish. Dangerously delicious!

Draft at Moriartys. Mostly clear gold pour that started with a large pillowy white head. Complex mix of drying hops held against just slightly too sweet blonde syrupy malts. However there is a long lingering bitterness in the finish. Hops flavors are floral, resiny, and earthy. Wet autumn leaves. Honey-dipped pinecones. Feels very similar to the Hoparillo (which I had next) - but maybe just a little more refined.

22oz bomber from Olegee, I hope he left this for me to drink otherwise I owe him big time. Poured a great looking clear syrupy rusty bronze body under snaverage ssized frothy white head. Aroma is loads of rotting citrus, dankness, wet bread, dry toast, citrus fruits, orange and tangerine. Full syruoy mouthfeel, soft carbonation and a hit if heat on the end. Flavor is good but not great like the aroma. Notes of rotting citrus, bad dough, dank weed, cat piss. Great aroma but only good flavor to round out an outstanding beer.

Bottle split with Gail. Pours a fairly clear amber with a thick white head that falls off steadily. Big sticky citrus hops on the nose. Medium bodied, sweet with a slight vegetal note. Sweet with warm alcohol coming through into the finish and a bit of lingering bitterness.

IT’S AWESOME!!!! If you are a fellow hophead, and are stuck at your local liquor store on whether to buy this or not; do yourself a favor and buy it. I recommend drinking it alone reflecting on some great night you just had, with a side of toffee covered peanuts. If you like hops, you’ve found your beer!

On tap at Growler and Gill. Big hop aroma. Deep gold with lacing. Big floral, pine, citrus hop mix. Malt back just sweet enough. A fine beer.

Bottle from Champanes, this beer had a clear orange-gold pour with light brown at the sides of the glass, and gave a white and faint off-white head that was lasting, it left a sticky ring and lacing on the glass, it had aromas of grapefruit citrus and pine hops, some lemon zest and guava with toasted malt and bread, a little caramel, some malt and honey sweetness, the flavors were pretty simple with citrus, resin and pine hops, toasted malt, a little caramel and malt sweetness, the finish had resin hop bitterness with some malt and sweetness following, the mouth feel was light medium with a little bit of a creamy feel and had average carbonation, the alcohol gave light dryness on the palate, this was a nice DIPA but there was too much sweetness in this drink, less sweetness and it would have a better rating.
