Bottle, thanks Eddan. Black with a minimal head. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, some vanilla and hints of dried fruit. Similar taste. Smooth and with a rather long finish. A tasty one.

@ Basunen 16-4-16: Riktig stor bourbondoft. Mycket smakrik och len l med tydliga toner av choklad, bourbon och kaffe ven tydlig vanilj i eftersmaken.

Aromas of harsh bourbon, oak, leather, barrel wood, chocolate, raisins, bourbon soaked plums, figs and coffee. Pours black with almost no foam and a very faint lace. Taste is chocolate, bourbon, oak, caramel, vanilla and toasted coconut upfront. Mid palate brings notes of raisins, leather, figs, prune juice chocolate milk and fudge. Finishes smooth with more chocolate and bourbon on the palate. Overall, a really well done BA porter with nice complexity.

Bottle from notes: Tanilla used to be a favorite but can be overly sweet and simple at times. That is the case here, though the beer is enjoyed. Sweet vanilla cocoa and booze. Warming. Good, but not worth the premium price.

Bottle. Blackish beer with a big light brown head. Bourbon and vanilla aroma with chocolate. Caramel and toffee flavor with bourbon. Medium bodied. Toffee and bourbon linger with light roast and light red fruit.

Deep black in color... Aroma of bourbon, chocolate malts... Hint of tobacco on the nose... Nice tannish head... Flavor is vanilla, chocolate malts, with notes of bourbon on the palate... Delicious, better than the imperial tanilla ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Black with a fizzy off white head. Roasted grain, chocolate, and faint bourbon aroma. Smooth creamy palate. Tastes of milk chocolate, vanilla, and faint bourbon - too basic: its lacking the complexity of better barrel aged beers. A more robust bourbon presence might have gone some way toward making this a better beer, but alas! Especially disappointing for the price point.
