COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Knee Deep’s 2 year Anniversary brew. The Imperial Tanilla was brewed with twice as many vanilla beans as its brother (Tanilla), which compliments this wonderfully balanced, yet full bodied brew with chocolate, vanilla and espresso flavors.

An incredible beer. One of our favorites. Pours a beautiful deep black with a thick tan head. Smells awesome, mostly vanilla, but some caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg in the smell. Taste is creamy, starts off with vanilla and cinnamon, then some macadamia nuts and toasted coconut in the finish. Great for a cold night. Some of the most natural tasting vanilla we’ve had in a beer. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery, pours coffee black, tastes like Cherry Coke. Not my style.

deep dark rich mahogany color. Slightly penetrated by light. Brown head. Chocolate scents with light cherry in the back. Tastes like a chocolate cherry pie that pleasantly fades. This was the imperial cherry tanilla.

Bottle. Black pour, khaki head. Nose is chocolate, wood, roasted malts, bitter, and light vanilla. Easy palate, chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, lightly sweet.

22oz bomber pours with a deep clear amber body supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up toasty toffee and caramel as well as some dark roasted malts and more toffee into the end of the draw. The taste is similar with dark roasted maltiness, toasty almost burnt toffee and then a thick layer of yum. I get an additional note of caramel like sweetness joining in into the finish. Pretty nice.

Super dark brown pour, light brown head. Vanilla up front and vanilla in the finish. In between I get lots of roast, chocolate and some coffee. Way better than the regular version.

Brown pour, tan head. Chocolate and roast. A little booze and roast. Good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown with light head and very heavy lacing-unexpected given the ABV. Some dry vanilla and light coffee and caramel and roasted malt on the nose. Very solid porter base that is very even handed on the vanilla playing to the earthier drier profile than the cloying and sweet. Very good porter. Would be a go too if it was distributed where I live.

22oz bottle. Dark pour with tan head. The nose is caramel, toffee with coffee and chocolates in the background. Flavors of semi sweet chocolate milk with coffee in it. The vanilla is inconspicuous. The beer lacks the hop balance I would prefer.

Fresh bottle. Nose of strong roasted coffee. Pours dark brown, medium head that fades quickly. Nice lacing on The glass. Flavor town! Big boozy flavor in your mouth. Don’t get much vanilla until the aftertaste. l
