Bottle from South Bay Liquor: Poured a gloomy golden almost brass color with a small creation of head which eventually dies out forming an O-ring. The aroma has a grassy aroma of hops and a sweet balance of rye or sourdough bread and reminds me a lot of how an abbey tripel smells. The flavor comes across as spicy with a minor taste of rye and a grassy plant like finish, but other than that, this saison lacks substance and taste as though it is heavily watered down.

December 2012. 20 oz. bottle. Hazy orange brew with a white head. Aromas of grain, bread, yeast and malt. This one is a bit off and out of balance. Maybe that is why itís retired now.

Bottle - Leather, feet, dark malts and rye spice. Cloudy brown with a thin whitish head. Tastes much like it smells with a bit of grass. The rye makes this pretty cool, I like this.

Light gold and hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is honey, lemon, and peppery hops. Taste is light biscuit with sweetness and slight sourness with a bit of hop bitterness. $5/22oz

Crystal clear golden pour (unfiltered?). Not much of an aroma. Sweet fruity flavor with honeysuckle and a grainy rye finish. Tastes nothing at all like a saison. It wasnít bad, just boring.

Dark orange in color with white head ... Aroma is ciders and slightly soapy... Flavor is spicy malts, caramel toffee, and Belgian yeast... Yeasty on the finish... Not my favorite

22oz bottle. The pour was a cloudy amber orange with an average (1-2 finger) white creamy head that slowly receded, down to a thin film with a small collar and possessed very good streaky lacing.
The aroma was of a light bread malt and a musty Belgian yeast with notes of apple, pears, rye, a mild peppery spice and a slight tartness.
The taste was lightly sweet with a mild tartness and a nice fruity presence from the start, and then became rather yeasty with a mild taste of rye and a slightly spicy ending. The flavor lasted an average duration after the swallow, with a lightly tart spicy taste left hanging on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was a bit past light in body and watery in texture with a nice lively carbonation.
Overall this is a brew with a very interesting taste. Not exactly sure what to think of it, but I do know it is rather tasty and really grows on you the more you drink...
