22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/11/2013. Pours crystal clear golden amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of huge mango, peach, pineapple, lemon zest, tangerine, orange zest, floral, grass, honey, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Incredible aromas with big complexity of tropical/citrus hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of mango, peach, pineapple, tangerine, lemon zest, orange zest, honey, light caramel, floral, grass, light pine, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of earthy floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, peach, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange zest, floral, grass, light pine, honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible balance and complexity of tropical/citrus hops flavors; with a moderate malt balance and doesn’t overpower the hops; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a slick, sticky, and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an incredible DIPA! Big balance and complexity of tropical/citrus hop flavors with moderate malt balance; and very smooth to sip on for 11.25%. An extremely delicious offering.

22 oz. bomber dated 6/4/13. Pours deep amber with a thick, off-white, two-finger head that dissipates to a nice foam cap. Great lacing. Pure hop aroma - pine resin and grapefruit rind. Bitter up front, as one would expect from a beef billed as a triple IPA. Nicely balance, however, not bitter for bitters sake like too many west-coast Imperial IPAs. Bitter on the back end as well, finishes slightly dry with a little heat from the 11.5 ABV. A full bodied, slick mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Overall, a well crafted triple IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Gold pour, white head, little retention/lace. Aroma of orange peel, citrus, pine, vanilla, butterscotch, caramel. Taste is quite bitter, pine/citrus, vanilla, caramel, light booze. Palate is soft, oily, bitter finish. Good; surprisingly not sticky or especially boozy.

Bottle thanks to Andy at Brian’s suprise birthday tasting. Pours clear gold with a big white head. Aroma is freshly squuezed grafruit juice as well as zest. Smells super fresh. Taste is slightly sweet, boozy, light malts, citrus zest, grassy hops and a little bit of tropical fruit notes. Good stuff.

Appearance was clear orange gold with lasting white creamy 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrusy floral hops, sweet pale, crystal malts with tad of alcohol. Taste are sweet malt backbone upfront then the piney, lemon, grapefruit, peach with warming alcohol. Palate was soft smooth cO2 with meduim-full body, then lasting warming piney citrusy finish. I wish had this fresher.

Pours golden with white foam head. Smells of hops and flowers. Tastes of loads of hops, flowers, light alcohol, and medium bitter. Finished with light bitter on the tongue and very refreshing.

bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks mate! pours clear pale golden with a decent white head, some retention. dankness and malted sweetness, citrusy, peach, flowers, strawberry and pineapple, hint of toasted caramel and vanilla, some pepper and booze. bit sweet. average carbonation, medium to full body - oily, almost syrupy. quite decadent. i’m actually surprising myself of very much liking this stuff.

Pours a really nice copper with a head that leaves heavy lacing. A really hop forward nose makes up the aroma, don’t you dare to try to feel something else in there. Taste is sweet and heavily hoppy but never too harsh or cloying. It’s quite a feat to achieve such balance in such an extreme beer. Medium carbonation, really easy drinking. Great IIIPA!
