4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
660mL bottle to flute
Aroma of flowers, plums, grapefruit, papaya, faint spruce, and tropical fruits. Appearance is a reddish amber with a decent white head white with minimal lacing. Strong fruity flavour with strong, but not overpowering bitterness throughout. Mouthfeel is full bodied, and oh so oily and silky that it coats the tongue. Best beer I've had in a long time.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Cloudy orange pour from bomber. Super fruity and floral. Strong but hides the alcohol well. Apricot and hoppy. Delicious.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I hadnít been too happy with Knee Deep IPAs before but this one is damn tasty. Very similar in aroma and fruit punchiness to Lagunitas Sucks. Lots of citrus but also some mango and pineapple notes. This and the Hopworks Belgian Pale Ale are in contention for top 10.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bomber.
Pours a slightly hazy medium orange with a half finger white head. Considering the abv, the head retention and lacing are spectacular.
HUGE hit of hops on the nose. Tons of tropical fruit from the Simcoe and Citra hops. There is a touch of caramel underneath along with overripe fruit. There is some dank too. All around, it is one of the best aromas I have ever experienced on a IIPA.
The flavor continues the hops assault with overripe fruit, orange marmalade, and sweet caramel. Mango and orange dominate the fruity aspect and there is a little less dankness compared to the aroma. Vanilla and caramel undertones along with a very assertive bitterness that is necessary to balance out the malt sweetness. Alcohol is nearly completely hidden providing a pleasant warmth in the throat and chest. Quite impressive. Mouthfeel is just slightly sticky.
Overall, one of the best IIPAís out there. I put this up with Hopslam as being the best IIPA available on the market. Incredible balance and tons of flavor combined with a big punch from the alcohol. A beer to seek out and pick up lots of.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
651mL from La Bodega. Pours a clear, deep orange. Medium, off-white head. Rockier, big webby lace. Nose is butterscotch, fresh Simcoe/Citra, mild pineapple, sugar, vanilla, tamarind. Taste is butterscotch, nut skins, fresh orange rind. Not so sticky, vanilla, heavy bitterness. Still drinkable, not so boozy like I was expecting. Spicy, dense. Long, bitter finish.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Got to try this thanks to a friend Dave, who bought it from Beverages4Less! Damn, this could be the largest assault on my palate Iíve ever had and for all the right reasons!!!
Aroma is intense fruit and dank all the way. The cattiness comes through strong with a hint of citrus still coming through thanks to the Citra hops.
Appearance is pale a fairly clear.
Taste is immense and dry. This is a hophead dream! All hops with just the right amount of malt to keep the drinkability (yes I said drinkability) present.
Overall, I would drink this whenever I could, a true treat well worth looking for! Thanks again to my friend Dave and Beverages4Less.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy orange pour that throws up a fleeting washy white head.
Floral hop aroma, some pine.
Assertive bitter hop flavor, resiny but balanced. Some alcohol comes through.
This wanders quite close to Barleywine territory.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 oz, pours an inviting orange with small head, smells of beautiful resinous grassy, cat piss, fruity melon. Tastes of toffee, carmel, strawberries and pure hoppy deliciousness. Balanced extravagantly well.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Andersons in Sylvania. Clear orange pour with a thin bright white and lots of sudsy stick. Aroma is bread, grass and grapefruit. Tastes are earthy, herbal, biscuit, lemon, orange, pepper, vegetal. Alcohol is noticeable (hard not to be), but comes together well enough. Tough rate - enjoyed it, but not sure Iíd have to get it again.
