4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 b33r (531) - Cleveland, Alabama, USA - NOV 16, 2012Amber color with very small diminishing white head. Oily on the glass with no lacing. Aroma is Fantastic- huge huge fruity & floral hops! Amazing fruity hop flavor with an intense grapefruity bitter finish. Best $9 bomber I’ve probably ever had- puts Hoppin Frog’s $14 Hop Dam to shame...

Pours golden with white foam head. Smells of hops and flowers. Tastes of loads of hops, flowers, light alcohol, and medium bitter. Finished with light bitter on the tongue and very refreshing.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 czar (2392) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 6, 2013
bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks mate! pours clear pale golden with a decent white head, some retention. dankness and malted sweetness, citrusy, peach, flowers, strawberry and pineapple, hint of toasted caramel and vanilla, some pepper and booze. bit sweet. average carbonation, medium to full body - oily, almost syrupy. quite decadent. i’m actually surprising myself of very much liking this stuff.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 mathieuc (322) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 2, 2013
Pours a really nice copper with a head that leaves heavy lacing. A really hop forward nose makes up the aroma, don’t you dare to try to feel something else in there. Taste is sweet and heavily hoppy but never too harsh or cloying. It’s quite a feat to achieve such balance in such an extreme beer. Medium carbonation, really easy drinking. Great IIIPA!
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 tom10101 (1166) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle (22 oz). Shared by mathieuc, thanks! Clear amber/orange with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is of malt, citra hops, resinous, caramel and herbal notes. Taste is moderately sweet with malt, caramel, resinous, citrus, herbal notes and moderate to heavy bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium to full body. Medium carbonation. Very good IIPA considering the high abv. It’s quite drinkable. I usually don’t like those 10%+ abv DIPA/TIPA, but this one isn’t bad at all.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 bigaddie (66) - - MAY 22, 2013
Notes of mango and papaya upfront with lingering aromas of grapefruit and mashed citrus peel. Lots happening in the aroma. While the bouquet is dominated by sweet fruity odors, a hint of grassy notes hit up the finish. One of the best smelling beers.
A reddish clear amber beer with good head and no real lacing. This is how a beer should look. No haziness, just enough head.
Fruity taste right up with a good lingering bitterness that makes this very palatable on the first sip. Absolutely no yeast taste and the smoothness of this beer is astounding given the high IBUs. A bit of a maltiness but just in a subtle fashion. The sweet tropical fruit notes also kick in towards the middle of the palate.
One of the best ales I've had in a while. Certainly among my top favorites. Can't wait to drink another one!

Hops aroma. Taste is resinous grapefruit. Palate is resin on the finish. An okay double ipa, but not one I would go back to.

Bottle. Clear burnt orange pour with a white head. Grapefruit hop aromas. Very good mouthfeel with a nice body. Decadent grapefruit and resinous hop notes. Good layering and perfect balance with a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Impressive.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Koskela (145) - Marysville, California, USA - MAY 14, 2013
Rich maltieness and hop aroma with an arangy hazy color and little white head. A medium bodied sweet very deliciously bitter combo. Theres a hint of alcohol but the sweetness is a bit too much. Not a bad brew and the mouthfeel and carb is bout right i think.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dreadnord (1009) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 12, 2013
The pour is transparent golden orange with a thin white head. The nose burbs the nostrils, boozey, oranges, grapefruit, light pine and some turpentine. The taste is high sweet and high bitter. The texture is oily and heavy with a long finish.

I was hoping this wasn’t another Hop Stupid. How is it that a beer with this much aroma and this much flavor be so clear? Extracts maybe ya think. I hate extracts.......but this tastes so fresh and real. It has to be fake but it tastes real. I guess the only way to get this much HOP POWER is with extracts. Aroma is out of this world. Cloudy would have been a huge improvement. Light orange/yellow and clear as glass. Pretty much no head. Crazy delicious pine. Finish is dry. Body is impressive. Like a pale and not syrupy like many hop bombs. Raspberry, peach, pineapple, stinky,. This beer is a ROCK STAR it’s art comes out in the flavor & aroma. Like a song you listen to over and over I could keep my nose in this for days. The aroma of this beer could bring me out of a coma.
