Amber color with very small diminishing white head. Oily on the glass with no lacing. Aroma is Fantastic- huge huge fruity & floral hops! Amazing fruity hop flavor with an intense grapefruity bitter finish. Best $9 bomber I’ve probably ever had- puts Hoppin Frog’s $14 Hop Dam to shame...

Notes of mango and papaya upfront with lingering aromas of grapefruit and mashed citrus peel. Lots happening in the aroma. While the bouquet is dominated by sweet fruity odors, a hint of grassy notes hit up the finish. One of the best smelling beers. A reddish clear amber beer with good head and no real lacing. This is how a beer should look. No haziness, just enough head. Fruity taste right up with a good lingering bitterness that makes this very palatable on the first sip. Absolutely no yeast taste and the smoothness of this beer is astounding given the high IBUs. A bit of a maltiness but just in a subtle fashion. The sweet tropical fruit notes also kick in towards the middle of the palate. One of the best ales I've had in a while. Certainly among my top favorites. Can't wait to drink another one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hops aroma. Taste is resinous grapefruit. Palate is resin on the finish. An okay double ipa, but not one I would go back to.

Bottle. Clear burnt orange pour with a white head. Grapefruit hop aromas. Very good mouthfeel with a nice body. Decadent grapefruit and resinous hop notes. Good layering and perfect balance with a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Impressive.

Rich maltieness and hop aroma with an arangy hazy color and little white head. A medium bodied sweet very deliciously bitter combo. Theres a hint of alcohol but the sweetness is a bit too much. Not a bad brew and the mouthfeel and carb is bout right i think.

The pour is transparent golden orange with a thin white head. The nose burbs the nostrils, boozey, oranges, grapefruit, light pine and some turpentine. The taste is high sweet and high bitter. The texture is oily and heavy with a long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I was hoping this wasn’t another Hop Stupid. How is it that a beer with this much aroma and this much flavor be so clear? Extracts maybe ya think. I hate extracts.......but this tastes so fresh and real. It has to be fake but it tastes real. I guess the only way to get this much HOP POWER is with extracts. Aroma is out of this world. Cloudy would have been a huge improvement. Light orange/yellow and clear as glass. Pretty much no head. Crazy delicious pine. Finish is dry. Body is impressive. Like a pale and not syrupy like many hop bombs. Raspberry, peach, pineapple, stinky,. This beer is a ROCK STAR it’s art comes out in the flavor & aroma. Like a song you listen to over and over I could keep my nose in this for days. The aroma of this beer could bring me out of a coma.

Pine bomb! Pours a slightly dark gold. White head with big loose bubbles. Medium carbonation. Aromas consist of pine, pineapple, green apple, and a bit of marijuana. The alcohol its well masked. Taste like it smells. Bitterly delicious.

Clear light copper coloured body with a nice, dense three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of super pungent and resinous hops, pine, grapefruit and a bunch of sweet and alcohol notes - dominated by passionfruit and pineapple. Full-bodied; Sweet flavour at first of pineapple and resin with a lot of body and malt depth right behind with massive amounts of hops afterwards - dominated by pine and grapefruit. Aftertaste shows a ton of alcohol warmth, a lot of honey and other sweet flavours and more hops than both of those combined - literally bunches of hops in the mix, plus with the alcohol and body, this one really is extreme. Overall, a pungent and super hoppy beer, but with the name goes the flavour - triple ipa, and it lived up to the billing - tons of hops, but so much malt backbone to go with it; If you have someone to drink this this, you’ll be much better off, because one person alone with this one isn’t easy, and I can attest to that! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Texas Liqour in Carlsbad, California on 19-March-2013 for US$10.99 sampled at home in Washington on 21-April-2013.
