Pours black with a large head. Nose shows vanilla, roasted malt, chocolate, delicate roast coffee. Flavours include roasted malt and vanilla. Dry but the vanilla gives the impression of sweetness.

650mL bottle from Slowbeer. Deep near-black body, pours a good inch of thick dense beige foam. Lovely aroma - stacks of vanilla (bean), toasted brioche/French toast, cafe au lait, biscuit & chocolate. Full body, slick slightly sweet, feels like it could be a monster by dries out a fair bit (lactose?). Low carbonation. Vanilla flavours abundant on the body also. Mends well with hot chocolate & coffee liqueur notes, bit of cakey/pudding/caramel sort of thing going on there. Low bitterness, dries out with lingering spice on finish. Love the flavours but kind of want more oompf!

Tons of vanilla and hints of chocolate in aroma. Taste is comprised of some milk chocolate and loads of almost cloying vanilla sweetness. Like drinking vanilla icecream, weird but cool!

Brown reddish color with tan head. Aroma is full-on vanilla ice cream with chocolate topping. Taste starts with chocolate, cacao and sweet finish. Body is quite light. Overall it’s quite nice and easy to drink.

Nieprzejrzyście czarny. Piana beżowa, drobna, obfita. Aromat mocno waniliowy, skórzany. Intensywne nuty kakao. Pachnie intensywnie, lekko gorzakawo. Gorzka czekolada, W smaku znów gorzka czekolada i mocna wanilia. W odczuciu gładkie, lekko aksamitne.

deep dark amber pour, 2+ fingers of tan head. Nose is vanilla and caramel. Bittersweet. Middle is chocolate, some nuts, and vanilla bean driving the coach. Finish is bittersweet and smooth.

From notes. Enjoyed at Doug’s house on July 04 for the first beer I’ve brewed with him! 22 oz bottle. Finally got to open this damn thing. There was so much hope, and even more disappointment. The pour is a thin dirty dark brown color with a light tan colored film of head and no lace. The aroma is light on the vanilla. There is a strong sweetness to it, and a light dark roasted malt. I’m disappointed by the light vanilla and abundance of lactic sweetness. The flavor is just as sweet. There is a light chocolate with the roast, but it’s just forced, light, and obviously fake. The finish is really dry. The mouth feel is thin and watery with a lack of decent carbonation and a dry, roasty, forced cocoa on the finish. The vanilla isn’t even lingering. Ugh.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a medium sized fluffy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was roasty and bitter with floral hops and imitation vanilla. The flavor was bitter and harsh with imitation vanilla, cream, a bit of cocoa and fairly strong floral hops. Long finish. Medium body. Disappointing.
