Bottle thanks to thome50, pours a dark brown/black with a thin khaki head. Aroma of vanilla, cocoa, and coffee. Taste heavy on vanilla mixes well with chocolate and subtle but bitter coffee. Taste like a gas station flavored coffee, simple but enjoyable.

1st night in Zion. Thanks JB. Overly carbonated!! Pours medium brown color with a large tan head. Roasty and chocolaty aromas with some vanilla. Moderately roasted malt flavor with vanilla and chocolate. Medium body but too much carbonation in our bottle. .

Bomber. Very carbonated. That detracted from an otherwise solid beer. Standard charred malt nose and a bit of chocolate. Palate is a bit thin.
4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 DocJitsu (307) - California, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Pours dark, nearly black with glints of red in bright light. Root beer head of a little north of an inch. Bouquet is meager--a little white chocolate and bourbon noted. Flavor is surprisingly bold that delivers a middle characterized by a sweet, white chocolate, vanilla, caramel. Finishes with a quickly disappearing coffee acidity. Creamy, pleasant mouthfeel. Fun beer. And at 6.3% ABV, you can have two.

A half finger of tan head on a black body.
The aroma is single-mindedly vanilla.
The taste is moderately sweet moving sweeter at the end. The middle has an unexpected bitterness. The profile is a bit disjointed.
Smooth texture with low carbonation and thicker body.
If you like sweetness this is for you.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Aggrokulture (1) - - JAN 10, 2013 does not count
Hoppier than I remembered from the Brewers Showcase last year. Nice chocolaty, coffee flavor with a hint of vanilla. The name suggests more vanilla than it actually has. I would like to taste a little more.

Bottle from brother for Christmas. Nice aroma of high quality vanilla and roasted malts. Flavor of light vanilla, roasted malt, and slightly bitter hops that linger in the finish. Body is a light for a porter. I enjoyed this beer, but I wanted a little more vanilla in the flavor of the beer.
