On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, rich mahogany brown colored body with a slight reddish hue. Two finger-width, dense and frothy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet caramel with a nice roastiness. A bit bready with some dark fruit notes and hints of cocoa. Flavor is similar. Pleasantly roasty with a nice caramel backing. A bit bready with some dark fruits and a light cocoa again. Finishes clean, dry, and lightly bitter before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium-light body and a somewhat lively carbonation. Overall, a really solid Dunkel. Roasty with a nice, balanced caramel sweetness. Very enjoyable.
