Nose is bread dough, citrus, grass, simple but clean.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light grassy bitterness in the closure.
Solid pils, one of the best I’ve had, low on the cereal/grain flavours.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tapped. Appeared clean golden body with a white medium head which didn’t last to the very end. Nose of some crispy malts, hops, grass, just a clssical good euro-pilsner aroma. Tastes lovely (for pilses), with some touches of fruits and hops. Ok, there is a finish, but I would not say it is very long and interesting. Good one as a pilsener.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
So... since I rarely drink Pils or have found a Pils I like drinking other than on hot, sweaty days, this may or may not be my cup of tea, eh?
The color is typical Pils, a crystal clear golden color with some yellow tints, which is topped by a snow-white head of foam. The aroma is pure Pilsen malts and some strong Noble hops, exactly what a Pils should smell like. The initial flavor at first is hoppy, bitter in a Hallertauer hop way (they mention Hallertauer on their website), but mixed in is lots of Pils malts and some light caramel malts, for I’m getting lots of caramel flavors in the aftertaste. It’s got a thick mouthfeel, very nice and not weak at all, going over the tongue like a slow wave lapping on the beach. You can tell they use good ingredients here, and everything fits well together. It’s got a decent bitterness kick on all sides of the tongue but also it still has a powerful caramel aftertaste. If I swallow it quickly and try to bypass the aftertaste, I can still get a little of the caramel notes, but it then tastes more like a normal Pils, albeit a herbe, Noble hop bitterness. I’m impressed, and really, I would buy this beer if I found it on my shelves. (And yes, I would drink it on a boat, and I would drink it with a goat. I would drink it here or there, say, I drink it anywhere!) What impresses me is the combo of Pils malts, a strong bitterness and a very nice caramel maltiness, all in one beer. Nice! My faith in the Pils style has been restored. I could drink this süffige Bier all day.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a crystal clear, pale golden colored body with a two finger-width, foamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened pils malts with touches of grass. A light butter note, some DMS, and touches of fruit. Flavor is similar. A bit of DMS throughout with a lightly sweetened, somewhat grainy pils malt and a hint of butter. A slight apple note towards the end before this finishes lightly bitter and dry with some grass. Medium length aftertaste following a light body and a moderately active carbonation. Overall, a pretty bland pils. Not terrible, but not very exciting.
