2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 tderoeck (3057) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 20, 2012
4/VIII/2012 - on tap @ Brauerei Kneitinger (Regensburg) - BB: n/a - (2012-826)
Clear golden yellow beer, creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, nice lacing. Aroma: grains, stable, hay, little herbal, some overripe fruits (banana). MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: some (carbon?) sour first, a little bit of grains, slight sweet touch, citrus. Aftertaste: some citrus, grains, hay, cow fodder, nice bitter dry ending. Very refreshing, I’ll give ’m that, but maybe the high summer temperature in the city had something to do with it as well. ;-)

Bottle, shared by fonefan. It’s a clear, yellow to golden beer with a small white head. Nice fruity, slightly perfumed, hops in the aroma, on a malty background. Sweet and malty flavor with a pleasant hoppyness giving bitterness. Medium body and a pleasant bitterness in the finish. A rather pleasant and quaffable one, but nothing special. 090821

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 YogiBeera (2435) - Hamburg, GERMANY - AUG 14, 2003
GBBF 2003: It was supposed to be Kneitinger Dunkles, but the brewery send the wrong beer as a guy from CAMRA informed me. Orange nose - ok but not intense. Hazy orange-golden color, little layer of a head, leaving laces on the glass, no carbonation. Grassy, but slightly. Odd metallic finish.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Koelschtrinker (8615) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 12, 2011
Test vom 2.4.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 4,8,8,5,6,7 - 6,65

At brewery. As golden as a helles. Looks like one too. White head. The aroma is odd, slightly phenolic, and sulfuric but not enough to be off-putting. The finish has some grassy hop. Not sweet. Has a touch of diacetyl. Is on the brink of being undrinkable.
