Light, Skunky. It’s what I expected. A throwback to old college days and bad beer. Ahh memories.

I suppose I’ve been overdue to rate a pale lager, so here we go. Serving: 12 oz. can from Jesse at Fireworks. It has your typical macro light appearance. The nose is rather non-descript, an attribute that I don’t mind in this case. The taste is clean with a bit of grain but not much else. Very clean finish. It’s easy drinking and unoffensive, though it does lack flavor.

This beer is from Pennsylvania but it is a dead ringer for a Polish pale lager. It’s grainy and lightly skunky despite being brown bottled. It’s clear straw yellow w/ a long lasting white head. Definitely light in texture w/ fizzy carbonation but I’d say this is much closer to being an actual Pilsener than most American lagers.

Pale watery corn swill lacking any kind of depth. Aroma shows...well...not much of anything. Slightly sweet corn notes do little to appease even the most undemanding beer drinker.

Pale yellow, head dissipates quickly. The aroma is a skunky, yeasty maltiness. My sample is from a can and that may be imparting some off aromas. The skunkiness dissipates after a few minutes. The beer is light bodied and crisp. It has a light sweetness to it and there is no aftertaste. Better than the macrobrews, but not by much.

bottle - Pours clear yellow with a one finger white head. It smells of grainy malt. It tastes of grainy, adjunct laden malt with a foul aftertaste. It’s weak and watery, another cheaply made, low quality beer. What’s the point?

Bottle [12oz] shared with garthicus -- c/o of HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a spare diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of corn and grain, of course, but also with some sweetness, a hint of fruit and some light hops -- could be worse. Flavour’s mild, watery and light but thankfully clean, with grain, pale malt and very light hops. Light bitter finish. Light bodied. I thought this would be much worse, I mean it’s not very good but for a Light lawnmower beer, you could do worse.

Bottle. Poured clear pale color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light sweet grainy aroma. Light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light sweet finish of short duration. Worth trying once, maybe.
