COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Farmhouse Cider

Malvern Oak Dry Reserve is a refreshing, balanced cider made from a variety of traditional cider apples, including Yarlington Mill, Harry MasterÕs Jersey, Dabinett and Kingston Black.
With the help of ’mother nature’, Malvern Oak is fermented to 6% alcohol to encapture the full flavour of the wine of the orchards, differing from many other ciders due to our unique blend of bittersweet cider apple varieties.
Malvern Oak Dry Reserve should be served slightly chilled – a great companion to good food or sipped from a glass whilst lazing in the shade.
This natural product is made without the use of apple concentrate, or any artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body, flat and headless. Pleasant apple aroma with some apple cores, slightly sourish. The flavor has a dry apple sourness and some apple cores. Full-bodied, dry and smooth on the palate, slightly puckering. A pleasant one, although a bit too heavy on the apple cores. 110415

Nose is like a calvados aged lambic, tart apples, a little sulfic, oak sourness, maybe a bit funky. Taste is sweet apples, yeast and very dry.

750ml bottle shared with Blockley. Pours a darkish yellow-gold, with no head whatsoever. The nose is mainly sweet apple fruit, and fairly simple. The same may be said of the taste, which is fairly straightforward and fruit-driven. It is quite a dry cider, but also a still one, leading to a rather cloying flatness. It is drinkable, but would be much improved were it a sparkling cider.

(on bottle, tastedas "Duchy Original - Dry Reserve Cider") I´m sorry, I´m so sorry, but this cider smells like a freshly fucked, then shampooed pussy; there, I said it. It´s good stuff. Waterish mouth, apple/ginsing flavours. Sweetens up in the finish.
