COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Farmhouse Cider

Malvern Oak Dry Reserve is a refreshing, balanced cider made from a variety of traditional cider apples, including Yarlington Mill, Harry MasterŐs Jersey, Dabinett and Kingston Black.
With the help of ’mother nature’, Malvern Oak is fermented to 6% alcohol to encapture the full flavour of the wine of the orchards, differing from many other ciders due to our unique blend of bittersweet cider apple varieties.
Malvern Oak Dry Reserve should be served slightly chilled – a great companion to good food or sipped from a glass whilst lazing in the shade.
This natural product is made without the use of apple concentrate, or any artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.

Bottle. Thanks Yespr! Pours clear yellow with no head. The aroma is fresh and yeasty with notes of apple, pear and oak. Flavour is very aromatic, dry, fruity and crisp.

Bottle. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours deep golden with a tiny film head. Aroma has lots of sweet apples and a fair oaky note. Very low carbonation, super dry and oily mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet apples, not really that tart. But there is plenty of dryness, almost drying out my mouth completely. Very nice.

Bottle. Golden with low carbonation. Aromas are sweet apple and caramel with woody and peppery notes. Flavours are woody, dry and earthy with apple juice. Some citrus sourness. Decent.

Straw coloured without excessive carbonation. Aromas are earty apples with some pepper. Flavours are dry and earthy apples without much sweetness - especially the unforgivable sweeteners in some ciders. Some pepper on the finish followed by a very dry and woody aftertaste. A good honest cider.

Bottle. Clear yellow golden body with no head. Apple earth wood aroma. Mild and relatively sweet apple flavor with a strange dry note that I cannot figure out. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.

750ml bottle from the Co-op in Bristol . Amber in colour with moderate carbonation. Decent apple juice aroma with a touch of dryness. Smooth drinking, with plenty of juicy fruit, some dryness and a touch of spice, with a gentle medium finish. Ok.

From barrel at Stratford upon Avon Beer Fest ’07. Cloudy lemon colour with no head. Harsh dry cider, acidic on the palate and particularly under ripe. Difficult.

Bottled and picked up from a farm shop Mar 06. Straw coloured cider with quite a pleasant appley aroma, bit on the dry side but a decent taste which was very natural and a very drinkable if not outstanding cider.
